Great location for exploring Fox Glacier, local shop and eateries within walking distance.

Fox Glacier Lodge is located in Fox Glacier and sits on the edge of The Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Free WiFi access is available. Te staff will bring us to walk around the firebug forest which is a sweet surprise for us.

The Westhaven Motel is located in the heart of the South Island's West Coast Glacier Country, within the South West World Heritage area. The hostel is very close to the bus stop, restaurants, and convenience stores, making everything very convenient. The room is clean, and the bed is soft and comfortable. If you need to do laundry, you can pay 6 dollars to use the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. The receptionist at the hostel is a young Chinese man who is very enthusiastic, and he is happy to answer any questions we have.

Nice hotel in a tiny town. Hotel is a bit older bur our room was modern and the bathroom completely renovated and comfortable

The Church at Fox is a restored, 60-year-old church made of stone and New Zealand timber. It offers a patio with mountain views and a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Nice kitchen, I guess some may have difficulty with European style or appliances, but we have similar, so no problems. I read some reviewers found the bathroom door was sticking or they didn't like the bathroom blinds. I'm reporting the bathroom door slides easily, and even if someone put their nose up to the window they couldn't possibly see anything. The property is as nice as the interior photos show. Remodel was very tastefully done. Thank you for the bottle of wine.
