The guesthouse is located IN the town Siglufjörður, the northernmost town of the Troll Peninsula. , this modern guest house is 16 km from Ólafsfjördur. It features scenic fjord views, a furnished terrace and summer BBQ facilities. The Herring House offers individually decorated rooms with a wardrobe and access to shared bathroom facilities. All rooms have access to a shared kitchenette. The one-bedroom cottages feature a private bathroom, kitchen, and an outdoor shower. A breakfast buffet or breakfast bag can be booked at Herring Guesthouse. A variety of restaurants, cafés and bars can be found within 5 minutes’ walk. Whale watching tours depart from Dalvík Harbour, which is 30 minutes' drive away. Hiking, golfing and skiing are popular area activities. The Herring Era Museum is 550 m away and Akureyri town is 78 km from the property.
