Cà San Ponzio era la vecchia casa dei nonni dove da bambini venivamo a giocare in estate, un vecchio cascinale agricolo dalla tipica pianta a “L”; l’abbiamo ristrutturato rispettando i canoni della tradizione e usando solo materiali originali quali cotto, pietra, ferro, recuperando quindi dove possibile i vecchi pavimenti , le antiche travi, mobili e serramenti originali… La nostra casa non è certo per chi esige lusso e massimo confort ma è luogo ideale per chi cerca una sistemazione semplice e suggestiva in un ambiente rustico, tipico, genuino, dove respirare antiche sensazioni ormai dimenticate, come risvegliarsi la mattina col profumo di caffe o la fragranza del pane che cuoce in cucina, o al rientro da una giornata piena di emozioni essere accolti dall’aroma di una torta di mele che sta cuocendo nel forno per la colazione del mattino…questo è Cà San Ponzio… Amore profondo per la natura, per la vita all’aria aperta, riscoprire i ritmi di vita naturali, in rapporto con le stagioni, trasmettere le nostre tradizioni e la nostra cultura…questo è Cà San Ponzio… A vostra disposizione abbiamo 12 camere tutte dotate di balcone, bagno privato con doccia, riscaldamento autonomo, ventilatore, TV satellitare e connessione WIFI, una nuova area wellness/SPA, un grande giardino e una bella piscina di acqua salata con magnifica vista.

Property information

This was our grandparents’ house; when we were children, we used to come out here and play in the summertime. It is an old farmhouse with a typical L-shaped layout. We renovated it in keeping with the traditional architectural canons using only original materials as earthenware, stone, iron, thus retrieving wherever possible the old floors, the antique beams and the original doors and windows. Our house is certainly not for those who demand luxury and maximum comfort but it’s the ideal place for anyone looking for a simple and cosy accommodation in a rustic, typical, genuine ambience where you can get long forgotten feelings, like being woken in the morning by the smell of coffee or the aroma of freshly-baked bread, or being greeted by the smell of an apple pie baking in the oven for breakfast coming back from an exciting day… this is Cà San Ponzio

We invite you to Cà San Ponzio, a typical farmhouse surrounded by peace amidst hazelnut groves and noble vineyards, now a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. you will discover a wonderland of food and wine called “Langhe”, the land of white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico), noble wines such as Barbera, Nebbiolo and most of all Barolo, known as “the King of Wines, the Wine of Kings”, and also a traditional cuisine with such a broadness of flavors that will delight even the most discerning palates. The Langhe, an endless sea of rolling hills speckled with tiny hamlets and charming villages boasting austere castles and old churches: historic places like Alba, Barolo, Serralunga, La Morra, Novello, Grinzane Cavour, Cherasco. A magical, still little-known land, where you will find the true meaning of “La dolce vita”.
