The large balcony provided a picturesque view of the tranquil river, making it a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee or unwind in the evenings. The pool area was a definite highlight of our stay. With its sparkling clean waters and comfortable loungers, it quickly became our go-to spot for relaxation. They even left a welcome (non-alcohol) sparkling drink in the refrigerator. B and B does not get much better than this. Very nice breakfast.

Offering mountain bike storage and an on-site bike shop, this restored heritage hostel is located in Cumberland, on Vancouver Island. It is 35 km from the biking trails at Mount Washington. Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.
