Just off Highway 116, this hotel is located in St-Basile Le Grand on Montreal’s south shore. It features on-site dining and a video lottery lounge. Guest rooms offer a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. It was nicely laid out. The staff was friendly and bilingual. They were able to accommodate my friend on the first floor.

This B&B in Sainte Julie, Québec, features an on-site art gallery, painting lessons and a heated outdoor pool. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. Mont Saint-Bruno National Park is 20 minutes’ drive away. Mme Drouin was a fantastic and extremely gracious host! Her home, paintings, pool, patio and yard are absolutely beautiful and the home was extremely clean! She greeted us warmly as we arrived and gave us the tour. Her artistic skill is apparent in the creative and unique décor inside and around the yard. It was fun to meet their adorable dog, two cats and the laying hens. We loved swimming under the stars and even saw some fireflies in the grape vines around the pool. The breakfast was delicious and she provided excellent gluten free options for a celiac diet. The red tulip triptych in the common sitting room was my favorite painting. Our biggest regret is that we could only stay for one night. If you are booking with Mme Drouin, you should definitely stay for more than one night. Our stay was certainly too short!

Situated within 20 km of Montreal Casino and 20 km of Old Port of Montreal, Motel Saint Bruno features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The motel is very clean and it was recently renovated. The rooms look great.

Set in Boucherville, 14 km from Montreal Biodome, Imperia Hôtel et Suites Boucherville offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Rooms were nice and clean. The shower head wasn't staying up, so we had to improvise. When we got there there was no parking as a big party was happening at the restaurant but ended at 9 so we moved our vehicles when the party was finished. Tim Hortons is right next door, so that was a plus! Great location, only 20 minutes from anything on the island. We were situated between the 2 bridges into Montreal. It was an industrial area, but honestly, for the 6 was worth it. 4 stars!
