Charming old abbaye located above Alba with the wine fields behind. Nice view over town with the alps behind from the park in front of the buildings. Modern, recently renovated room. I did have dinner(set menu) which was well worth the price. Breakfast buffe italian style with unfortetunely only sweet food.
Gated safe parking.

It is a converted seminary (school for training priests) - you will be staying in an austere former student room - so don't expect space or luxury. For me everything was fine - especially the low price and the location (quiet square, close to the town centre, but close enough to the edge of town I could go for an evening jog in countryside).

Friendly hosts, simple clean accommodation with own entrance. Very good breakfast.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

lovely town of 30,000 people. the truffle festival was going on, something about hazelnuts, too and people came here just for the gourmet food and superior wine. we also enjoyed the surrounding Langhe valley which is a UNESCO Heritage Site because of its beautiful vistas.

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
Everything! Vincafe is just wonderful! Our double room with balcony overlooked the main pedestrian street of Alba and was just such a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the ambiance. The room and bathroom were both spacious and bright. Lots of windows and doors that opened. The cafe below seemed to be THE place morning til night. Busy, busy. Breakfast (included) was the tastiest, most substantial we have ever had travelling in Italy. Staff was exceptional in every way. Highly recommended!
Maison Alice is a modern clean ground floor apartment. The apartment was very safe with remote gates and it appeared there was parking for those who drive. The location is perfect, close to train station and the old town. Our host is very communicative and always available. We were grateful to her for helping us out. If we visit Alba again we will definitely stay here. Highly recommended.
Overall, a very good hotel in the center of Alba. It's very basic, but it's clean and comfortable, and the windows have mosquito nets, which is ver important in this area. The staff was very nice and helpful. It used to be some kind of monastery, and now the first floor is actually a school!
The staff here was so kind and friendly! The location was close to many restaurants and shops, but the ability to use bikes to get into the center of Alba was a wonderful addition to the stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the parking was safe and easy!
Beautiful apartment in a prime location. Close to wineries and in the heart of Alba. Great communication with Luigi who treats you like family. Coffee shop directly below with great cappuccino made by Alessandro. Feel very blessed to have found this place.
We loved our stay at this B&B just outside the city of Alba. The staff was very welcoming, the property is lovely with a nice patio, our room was spacious and comfortable (with good AC!), and the excellent homemade breakfast was the icing on the cake.
The house was cosy and had everything you needed. It was located in the center of Alba and also had parking right outside the house! The host was absolutely adorable and so helpful with everything. We loved this place and want to come back!
Hotel was extremely orderly, tidy, and well maintained. Rooms very clean and very well outfitted. Staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly, as well as professional. Location was ideal.
Alberto, the owner, was the most personable host you could wish for. He went out of his way to assure you had the best experience. I would highly recommend this hotel. You can’t go wrong!!
Fantastic property, family ran business and they are really nice and helpful.
Very close to Alba 7 minutes by car

The hotel was amazing, especially the views. Staff was great and attentive, and the breakfast was the best we have had so far. Everything was so fresh.
Our host was so friendly and helpful. They made sure our stay was wonderful. They really went the extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely time in Alba
