The walk from the San Pellegrino pass to rifugio fuciada is fantastic as it is pretty flat, not too far (8 km round trip approx) and can be done with snow boots even in Dec/Jan. The scenery of the mountains and warm atmosphere, drinks and food of the rifugio make it an fabulous winter walk. Busses are available from Moena to the pass.

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is not on the doorstep of the skiing resorts, but a short transfer (15min) will take you to the most common ones - San Pellegrino area being our favourite. While not being on the doorstep of skiing, it has the advantage that you can try out different areas, all with different characteristics.

The city is surrounded by beautiful nature and allows for so many activities. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants from affordable to expensive. We tried both and never got disappointed. Food was amazing, 4 course of dinner also with salad bar, breakfast as a bufet, lots of sweet croissants, ham, salami, cheese, jams, fruit and vegetable, eggs with bacon. For dinner you can order wine, beer or other beverages. Staff was nice and always with a smile. Plus was sauna and whirpool, that you just need to book and that is all. I can really recommend this hotel and definitely come back! :)

Convinient parking. Very clean. The room was being groomed twice a day. Great breakfast and outstanding dinner, with outstanding atmosphere. I never ever eaten food as good while skiing in Italy before, not at restaurants or on the slopes. Everything far exceeded all expectations.

The breakfast buffet was great- many delicious choices, and the spa area was wonderful. We used the sauna and Turkish bath almost every day. The dinner in the hotel was also delicious , the staff was wonderful and helpful. Car parking was conveniently right outside the hotel.

We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, but we're sure it is good. The staff is super friendly and speaks English. The ground floor and basement facilities look great. You can get a beer or a cocktail in the evening. We wish we had more energy left to play table tennis. ;)
