Cala di Mola is structured like a small Mediterranean village on the side of a hill directly facing the sea and offers a chilled and relaxing vibe. Our room was spacious, clean and with air conditioning. The private swimming pool right in front of the shore is quite large and offers guests the possibility to swim (25 meters) or to just relax (adjacent pool) without interfering with each other's goals :-) .There are two bars, both facing the sea, where we loved enjoying a very generous campari spritz! Staff is very friendly and helpful and deserve a mention of honor as the best staff I've met in 30 years of travelling. Some of the best beaches on the island can be reached within 30 minutes driving and 2 of the best restaurants on the island are within 5 minutes. Overall we loved the experience.

The village is pleasant, sports some nice boutiques, bars and restaurants (including a veggie one to my intense delight) and brimming with events in the summer evenings, although not all of them were to my liking. The sea promenade is very nice, the village center is nice but can be crowded at least in August. The surroundings offer not just some beautiful beaches that can be easily reached by car or, if you like a short hike, on foot, but also a lot of opportunities for hiking in the nature. In the harbour you can rent a boat or find day trips to Pianosa or to other locations around the island. If you're into nature, in the village you can find a whale watching association offering day trips for dolphin spotting, and another offering diving/snorkeling trips and kids laboratories on marine biology.
The main cons of the location is that the main access road to the village is pretty busy at certain times (in particular around dinner time), at least in high season, this can be sometimes a real nuisance and in any case you want to take it into account if you have made plans for the evening.

Great Italian town with lots of restaurants and cute shops.
Great Italian town with lots of restaurants and cute shops. At night the city comes (even more) to life and the city center is filled with people. The little harbor is fun to walk through and if you walk a little further you can hike along the walls of a fortress (now a prison) and end up at a very nice pebble beach.

Must go to a bar named “El curandero” in Porto Azzurro.
Must go to a bar named “El curandero” in Porto Azzurro. The food is much better at the Hotel Plaza restaurant, worth every penny.
Thank you guys, you are wonderful people, the best service I’ve ever had.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Plaza. Its ideal location within walking distance of bars and restaurants in Porto Azzuro and the breathtaking view from the balcony made our experience truly memorable. The staff exhibited professionalism throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the attentive and gracious service provided by the staff.
Beautiful spot, spectacular view, a minute from the beach and coastal hikes, loads of services eg cafe and bar and free night bus to Porto Azzurro, lovely welcoming family atmosphere. Our hosts put on free drinks and nibbles for all guests for Ferragosto. We had a lot of help to book our return ferry and taxi which was much appreciated. A wonderful place. Highly recommended.
I travel extensively for work and frequently for pleasure. This was one of the best hotel rooms I have ever had due to having 2 bathrooms, a magnificent view and large outdoor deck with hot tub and lounge chairs. Upgrade is definitely worth it. Value was amazing. Also great location close to town. Can’t wait to come back.
Very happy with our stay at Belmare. The room had a balcony directly facing the harbour, 100 meters from closest beach. Super friendly staff and a nice solution with free of use electric scooters to drive to the parking (possible to offliad bags at the f
hotel and then drop the car). Perfect.
Breakfast was a lot more than we expected based on previous stays in other areas of Italy (and France, for that matter). The buffet was ample and there were options for more, i.e., made to order items. Could not ask for anything more.
The view was breathtaking.
Elba is a beautiful island. And Villa Teresa is a fantastic place in a lovely setting to explore the island. We extended our stay as we were enjoying ourselves so much. The pool is amazing. The staff are very helpful. Wonderful.
Overall a good hotel for your holidays - beach is just 5-10 min walk away. Breakfast was good for italian standards. A supermarket, pit stop and the lovely town Porto Azzuro are just a couple of minutes away.
Great amenities - pool with a view, comfortable and ample loungers, quick beach access, table tennis, playground, fussball table, outdoor dining areas, beach bar. Proximity to the beautiful Porto Azzurro.
Having driven for 6 days through Europe Elba and in particular Porto Azzurro was the ideal location to relax and chill. The room was ideal for what my wife and I wanted and the breakfast was excellent.
The view was stunning and the host was extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. Heating worked really well in the chilly conditions. Short drive down to Porto Azzurro and Capoloveri which we enjoyed.
the beach front view from the hotel room, however we extended our stay by Jen night and we’re transfer to another room on the lower floor w/o the proper balcony and the noise there was not bearable…
Nice breakfast, lucky to get a room close to the hotel, nice pool area with great lunch bar, friendly staff, pick-up every day by boat rental company on the beach in front of the hotel
The property was overlooking the water. It was beautiful. They had a restaurant on site and the food was quite good. The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself was immaculate.
Gorgeous view of Porto Azzurro and the beautiful bay. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. We would certainly stay again!
