Excellent location short walk from upper Rocamadour. Able to eat pizzas in the bar whilst having drinks. Our bedrooms overlooked Rocamadour, which was spectacular when lit up at night.

The setting of the hotel within the trees is lovely. Very modern inside with very friendly knowledge staff. Walk out the back garden straight onto a viewing platform for the valley with magnificent views of the castle.
Easy to find a restaurant in town with a nice walk back. Then a comfy bed for a sound sleep.

Room had an excellent view and being on the same level as the carpark, access to the room with luggage made a refreshing change. Restaurant food was above average and the views were spectacular. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful

A must see, interesting visit with stunning views. The cleanliness of French towns that are this size is a tribute to the pride that the local and regional councils have for their culture and environment.
There is a symbiosis between the stone of the area and the amazing structures that were created by intelligent, ancient craftsmen that leave you almost without words, such is the beauty of that creation.
Rocamadour has all the elements of a visit that stays in ones memory. It has an enduring, timeless quality. A fairy-tale landscape.
A wondrous, awesome testimony to a devoted and pious past.

The hotel was quite charming but small and part of an attractive old renovated building. The pool facing room was small but had a window for ventilation.
We paid for the room around €82. Please be aware Breakfast is not included and charged as an extra €26 for two people. There is no evening dining on site so after a long drive, we had to drive out again to eat. On cleanliness, just one issue. The bath had another visitors hair remaining in it which was off putting and could have been cleaner.
Otherwise, perhaps expensive for the facilities available but very pleasant staff.

The ambience is amazing as you enjoy the views of buildings built into the rocks around you or gaze at the valley you are in.
The shops are a mix of interesting artisan shops or typical tourist ones. Good choice of plat de jours during the day but night time is more expensive as ‘reasonable’ plats are not offered at night. Generally the food is good, well cooked and plenty of choices. We ate at a restaurant called La Table de Cure. Great staff and very good food. Padiriac Cave is nearby and a good trip but choose your times and date carefully to avoid queuing.

This was the 5th time we visited Rocamadour, mostly bringing our friend to see one of the most enchanted villages in France. View from the access roads (both lower and higher sides) will make your jaws drop. The whole place reflects how faith could create something nearly surreal. Seeing is believing. It is worth half a day to one day visit. But, we always stayed one night to enjoy wonderful meals and evening ambiance. Plenty of souvenir shops geared towards pilgrims and hikers but other things for general tourists. Several good restaurants with nice view. Not to be missed is their famous small round Rocamadour goat cheese. It tastes the best here although you can find them in most supermarket and cheese shops in South West France.

Unique medieval city clings to cliff edge, atmospheric and peaceful. Enjoyed leisurely 3 course lunch with delicious Bergerac wine and Rocamadour cheese in the Lion d”or restaurant, excellent value considering you are in a UNESCO historical site. Walk up to the citadel passing statues of the 12 stations of the cross. Wonderful setting in deep lush ravine with fabulous views at every turn. The Logis Belvédère hotel was ideal and perfect for travelling with our dog.
The staff was amazing in setting us up with an accessible room since I was traveling with my parents. They were kind and welcoming as well. The room was clean and looked as advertised. Large bath and the room had heat and ac. The location is nice, in the upper part of Rocamadour. We had a lovely dinner in Au Panorama which is across the street, and we highly recommend it. Breakfast at the hotel was better than we thought, you had yogurt, cereal, eggs (for boiling), an assortment of bread, juice, and coffee.
very good location. with lots of parking.
The staff were very friendly. The room & en-suite were very clean. We had a nice view from our 1st floor room. The room has air con, but we found it to be quite comfortable & airy when we stayed in June, that we didn’t need the AC on.
Breakfast was continental, with quite a few choices. Coffee machine not great, considering what nice coffee you can usually get in France.
We had a fabulous stay. Unpretentious hotel with outstanding staff within the village of Rocamadour right beside the "grand escalier"
Room with beautiful valley view. Good restaurant with terrace over the valley too.
No aircon, no lift, small room, but it all just felt so special, we'd go back without a second thought.
The staff and it's position are it's standout features
Located right in Rocamadour with a garden back door directly connected to the town and a stunning view where we can access the path leading to the town and the Sanctuary.
The large garden is peaceful with its beautiful trees and the swimming pool is a bonus.
The entire hotel is serene with a focus on nature.
The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Despite our off-season and very short visit to Rocamadour , we very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Troubadour - a little heaven close and distant enough from high-season crowds. Tips for the close-by villages, the very practically set up breakfast and the breakfast wine were surely good fuel for the rest of the trip.
The hotel is perfectly located on the main walkway through Rocamadour. Getting there is a challenge but that is the nature of the town. We decided to park in the valley carpark and get the train up to the centre which is fine if you only have an overnight bag.
The room was beautiful and very spacious with wonderful views.
Perfect location overlooking Rocamadour. The hotel is right on the edge of the overlook - perfect location for an easy stroll while looking down on this village. The room was modern and clean. We arrived early, and they stored our bags until our scheduled checkin. We'd definitely stay here again.
Interesting agricultural plants/trees, delightful pool, interesting out-buildings, tidy appearance, comfortable rooms. The manager, Mathieu, was amazing. He went the extra mile to be sure we had the best experience in the region- with restaurant and activity recommendations.
What an amazing place to stay! We loved the location and were thrilled to walk the paths of Rocamadour in the evening hours to enjoy the peace and beauty of the gardens and views.
The breakfast every morning was presented beautifully and was delicious!
perfect location for viewing and walking to Rocamadour, and still inexpensive, impeccably clean, and wonderful kind and helpful staff. Also off-street parking included, which is important near Rocamadour.
It was a very sweet hotel in the heart of medieval Rocamadour. The views are incomparable! There is a restaurant and bar available. The service was excellent! This was a fairytale visit!
Great hotel, staff were really helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and the view from the restaurant is amazing. Good location for local visits to rocamadour and local caves.
A lovely experience staying at this hotel. The hostess is amazing. The room overlooking Rocamadour was lovely. Delicious breakfast. It was a pity we stayed for just 1 night.
