While the town of Bled was very busy with travelers, the surrounding nature was exquisite! Walking around Lake Bled, visiting Vintgar Gorge, and all the wonderful hikes in the Lake Bohinj area - just spectacular. We also found that every meal we had was a good one, if a little on the pricier side.

Bled, Slovenia, is a picturesque gem that truly captivates the heart. Nestled by the stunning Lake Bled, the town boasts breathtaking scenery that feels almost otherworldly. The shimmering lake, with its emerald-green waters, is crowned by the majestic Bled Castle perched atop a steep cliff, offering panoramic views. A serene 'pletana' boat ride to the enchanting island at the lake's center, home to the charming Church of the Mother of God, is an absolute must. The lakeside is lined with delightful cafes and restaurants, where you can savour delicious local cuisine while soaking in the beauty of your surroundings. The marketplace and quaint shops in Bled are perfect for exploring local crafts and souvenirs. Bled is not just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience that blends natural beauty with cultural richness.

Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.
I can only recommend that place.
Its very good location, just ca. 10 min to lake. I really liked its not huge hotel, but give you more private feeling.
I got very big room with very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is organized pretty good and you get can scrambles eggs done based on your order and not just heat up.
Communication with House is easy and they respond on Booking.com pretty fast.
I arrived to Bled pretty early, yet i was very lucky to be able to check-in ealier. That really saved me a lot of time.
One of the hotels that offer a view of Lake Bled and it was worth it. The room I had was great. The bed is comfortable, the TV is of high quality and the bathroom is modern and clean. There are boat trips in front of the hotel that will take you to the island at the middle of the lake. Their restaurant is also good. Breakfast buffet was okay. There are not so many food options within the area so plan accordingly for your meals. Also take note that it is quite a walk if you go down at Bled Bus Station.
Hotel Triglav is a beautifully restored and decorated old hotel situated on the far side of Lake Bled with spectacular views across the lake to the town of Bled itself. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the food served at breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our second evening, the dinner was also exceptional, but you are then paying for a Michelin rated taster menu. The pool and spa underneath the hotel were superb, with relaxation areas looking over the lake.
I'm a leader of a small group tour with travellers from the US. This is my 3rd stay in Hotel Park and since my last stay in 2019 the hotel has been beautifully renovated.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast options are abundant, and the front desk staff are very professional (Gregor in particular stood out!!!).
Fantastic location, steps away from the lake, and a number of restaurants and stores.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!
The apartment was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The shower was very big. The breakfast was so good and reach! They took it in our room after our call. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. The apartment is 5 minutes walking from the lake and have a convenient parking. We had half board and the dinner was 1 minute walk from the apartment. We highly recommend Aparthotel Gaja in Bled!!
Beautiful little hotel with its own restaurant and amazing view over the Bled lake. The staff was super friendly and proffessional. We stayed in a room with sauna which was a pleasant bonus. The room was actually more like an apartment with two terraces, everything was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicous with variety of food, from eggs and sausages to sweets and fruits. You can also rent a boat at the premises.
Our stay at Vila Special was one of the highlights of our trip in Slovenia. The hosts were very communicative and friendly and our room was beautiful - so clean, modern and comfortable. The location is ideal, just 5-10 mins from Lake Bled, but in a lovely tranquil area away from the main road. There were lovely touches too, like complimentary biscuits and pastries. 10/10 stay for us!!
Spotlessly clean, well run hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and delicious buffet breakfast (plus eggs cooked per your wishes). A 20-min walk away from the crowded center of Bled, near the pretty lakeside Bled Mlina, where you can swim, walk, boat and get buses to other areas. Near some good hikes. Lovely views to the island church if you walk a little further around the lake.
We stayed at Apartments Vila Marjetica for 2 nights. The property is located very close to Lake Bled, one can easily walk to the restaurants. There are also 2 supermarkets very close to the apartment, which is very convenient. The place was clean and all the basic items were provided. The host was very helpful, he even gave us some tips were to visit on our stay in Slovenia.
The whole organization of the stay is on the top-notch level. Picking up the keys is quite easy, the apartment we were in - Grad - was super clean and comfortable. The heating is absolutely great. The view and a short walk to the lake Bled make everything even more enjoyable. All in all, one of the best private accommodations ever.
Victoria apartments is the perfect place to come with a family even with small kids as it offers large lawns with grass and kids play area. The location is perfect, with the private parking but also very close to the Bled lake within walkable distance of the major hotels and the restaurants.
The hotel location is probably the best one on lake Bled. The hotel's historic villa house right on the bank of the lake is impressive on its own and maintains the area's charm. Our room was the largest in the hotel and offered a good view of the lake, the island and the chapel.
Excellent hotel on Lake Bled. Right on the lake with beautiful views. Very comfortable room. Good parking. Amazing 5 Star Breakfast! Indoor pool and sauna area. Staff was very helpful. Row boats that you could use right outside the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great location, easy to access parking. The rooms are clean and spacious. Especially good, if you are staying multiple days at lake Bled as the room was the most spacious room that I've ever been in a hotel.
The perfect place to relax and enjoy Lake Bled! The food is delicious, and the rooms are very comfortable. I also really appreciated being able to park at the hotel. I would definitely stay again!
Best view of lake bled island in the whole town, right off the private balcony. We had breakfast outside every day and felt like royalty
Also a very well stocked kitchen
Very original interior of the hotel (a mix of classic and modern). Comfortable and cosy. Free parking in front. Quiet location within 5 min walking distance to lake Bled.
