Mylopotias is full of partying young people and there is a nightclub just down the road from where we stayed so we could hear the thumping music. We didn't mind, but it did mean that from 10pm we wouldn't sit on the balcony. Great beach, stylish restaurants esp. the sushi, not overcrowded. We kept different times vs the young crowd which meant that the beach was nearly empty in the morning and started to fill up at 2pm is. The beach, mini market and restaurants were a long way from the apartments we were staying at. It was very touristy and geared up for the youth who want to party. Pay sun beds and umbrellas on the beach were expensive. Good selection of water sports in the ocean.

Far Out Club is loud for a few hours at night but dies down before 10 ish in July. It is lovely in the daytime and one place rents cabanas with 1 side plexiglas very reasonably priced. The room was very nice and the location excellent in front of the beach, just to cross the road. The host, Mrs Irini was very nice and helpful. Prepared our breakfast every day and also small meals whenever needed. We really loved the place and will visit it soon again. Highly recommended.

It is a small family run business and they really care about your stay in Ios. Nikos and his two sons, Kostas and Giannis, are the sweetest Greek treasures you could find and made our time here 100x better. Everything is clean from the rooms to the pool, feels very safe and comfortable. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us as it was our honeymoon!! It was in the perfect location between Chora and Mylopotas. The pool and bar setting was gorgeous looking out on the beach. The pizza was amazing 😍The rooms were immaculate and we had a lovely balcony area. There is a bus stop right outside the door.
