Easy to find in the centre of Haverfordwest. Lively on a Saturday night the Pub is an important part of the community. Nevertheless I found my room quiet and relaxing. Very helpful and warm welcome from the hotel owners.

As advertised.
Clean and mostly well set up.
A comfortable / firmer bed and pleasing / firmer pillows.
A rare full suitcase stand x1 was appreciated but way too many plastic plants and other lifestyle clutter for us travelers; who just need a bit of empty space to open up downstairs our two full sized suitcases, etc. The scent sticks and sprayer are also unnecessary to those of us with allergies.
The bedroom as we knew, was upstairs.
The central heating was easily managed ie mostly turned down / off. As aussies we find the typical temp in all of our UK stays, initially set way too high. We are now at week 5 of 9 week travels here. But the heated towel rail was useful.
The full kitchen greatly suited us though, as did the washing machine. The latter was one of the main reasons we booked here.
The shared rear courtyard was a nice space, when sunny.
Parking is out on the fairly quiet street but we never had a problem getting a space close to our front door.
We stayed Sun, Mon and Tues nights so pub noise, as others have noted, was not a problem to us. The pub is shut all day on a Monday too. We had a pleasing dinner meal there on the Tuesday.
Easy to access unit wi-fi.
4 stars and a recommended stay, despite the minor annoyances.

The Windsor is nothing like the photos.
The Windsor is nothing like the photos. In all the hanging baskets are weeds. The room was very basic. No mirror or picture's on walls. Very hot. no fan. The owners are lovely people. I would not go back. You need a car to go out and eat.

The Paddock is in Bethlehem, a small village a few miles to the northeast of Haverfordwest. The nearest pub is a couple of miles away at Spittal. The food at the pub is very good for both quality and service but only provides food Tuesday to Saturday. Scolton Manor is within walking distance and is well worth a visit. We didn't particularly like Haverfordwest but The Paddock is an ideal location for touring Pembrokeshire which has so many beautiful places and coastline to visit. We shall definitely be returning.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is British country side in perfection. Coastal trails, stunning coves, sandy beaches, and little Inns. Roads can be a little narrow but those I encountered were very friendly, and we'd take turns reversing or pulling over to let the other cars through. I loved Wooltack Bay and Deer Park; saw seals, puffins and lots of birds. The Sunshine Italian Restaurant in Broad Haven offers a garden terrace to enjoy fantastic views of the ocean. Definitely recommend exploring the Pembrokeshire area.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, my only complaint is that when booking there was no mention of an extra charge of £25 per week to bring a dog which we had to pay on arrival. The website page need updating to include this.

I came because I was told St.Davids Cathedral was the best in Wales but unfortunately my friend let me down at the last minute and we couldn't go but I would recommend, the beach is nice and clean,my children recommend the yha hostel cafe and Anchor guest house.
It was a lovely space for myself and my 8 year old to use as a base to explore West Wales. Car parking space is right outside, which is always helpful. Kitchen facilities were ample for requirements. The bed was relatively comfortable, and the linen smelled lovely. The bathroom was clean and a nice size. Despite the apartment being next to the road, there is very little traffic, and the area is lovely and peaceful. The beach is a 1 minute walk down the hill, and we caught some beautiful sunsets.
Arr, me matey! I be hearin' ye enjoyed yer stay at Hotel Mariners, aye? Well, let me tell ye, it be a treasure of a place! The rooms be cozy like a pirate's cabin, and the staff be friendly as a parrot. The scurvy dogs at the front desk be helpin' me with all me needs. The breakfast be fit for a captain, with plenty o' grub to fill yer belly. And the view from me window be like gazin' out at the endless sea. I be givin' Hotel Mariners a hearty "Yo ho ho!" rating! ⚓️🏴☠️
Excellent location for visiting nearby sections of coast path (driving to starting points). Also close (again using car) to Haverfordwest centre with good selection of shops and restaurants. Accepts dogs, although you may need to discuss the breed, as they are generally ok with smaller ones (but accepted our lab). Cottage is top. Extremely cosy. Still new. Fully equipped (minus washing machine). Car parking in front of entrance. Nice welcome waiting on the table.
The house is absolutely stunning!
Exceptional finishing with great facilities and perfectly located for pembrokeshire!
The house has everything you need and more... including some friendly visitors (one of which is a stunning peacock)...
The perfect facilities only a short drive away.
If your looking for a break from the city this is the perfect spot!
And to top it off... the hosts are really friendly and helpful!
Loved the location convenient for a meal in an old hotel across the street after a long long stressful day of travelling on UK roads in peak season ....loved the old house and decor loved the books to browse and loved the balcony ...and easy walk to the castle and river ...great place to absorb the history of Haverfordwest and easy to bounce off to coastal beauty and historic st David's .
Best place to stay, with view of sunset right in the room. The host and staff were very hospitable. In fact, the host was at the dining area to greet us daily and could remember the names of guests. Breakfast was excellent and the hot breakfast is made to order, with customisation if required. Room was spacious and clean, and with nice views of the sea. Ample free parking.
House was very spacious, lovely and clean, everything we needed for cooking and cleaning provided. The WiFi was excellent and the smart TV was a welcome surprise. Love the location, so easy to get to a lot of lovely sites around the area and shopping and petrol in Haverfordwest was less than 15 minutes away, but so quiet too. Great value for the price.
Lovely location well-placed for exploring southwest Wales. Very peaceful farm surroundings and our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Great breakfasts and, Wendy, our host was so welcoming and had loads of useful tips for places to visit and local restaurants. The plate of Welsh cakes was a lovely touch on arrival.
Beautiful, characterful building and grounds; one of the best appointed rooms I’ve stayed in - every little thing thought of with copious tea, coffee, a good hairdryer; great location in walking distance of town centre with train station and buses; very kind, helpful and welcoming hosts who cook up a delicious breakfast!
The room was spacious, clean and light, and the bed was one of the most comfy I have slept on.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The Manager and staff were helpful and bent over backwards to help with any requests.
Overall it was good value for money and I would definitely return and recommend to others!
Amazing value for my friend and myself. 2 double beds, mine was the comfiest of any bed I’ve stayed in any hotel. Great selection of pillows. Extremely clean. Soft fluffy towels. Perfect location to be able to head to Skomer island early next day. Parked on drive way. Area in town but very quiet.
Location, convenient for Haverfordwest, Lost Coins is always good value and we had a friend who lives in a nearby street. Place was warm and there was enough space for us and a dedicated parking space. Internet was good and there's an Amazon Echo unit for entertainment.
The staff, especially Karen, did their best to help us. We heard the hotel had recently been taken over, they certainly need help with sorting it out 😉 but the staff were all very lovely
