It was central to many Dolomites attractions.
It was central to many Dolomites attractions. We ate in their restaurant. very convenient. Breakfast included was good. We had a hire car, so easy to drive through the mountains. A cable car ride to top of a mountain was worth doing, with lunch at the top.

The small town with its beautiful old church was delightful.
The small town with its beautiful old church was delightful. The views from everywhere in town and from the Guesthouse was breathtaking. We went to Cortina with the local bus (short trip) and then went up the Faloria cable car for a good walk and tea at the Restaurant from where the view were unforgettable. Then back to Cortina for a walk in the town and a lunch in a pub. Wish we had more time to explore San Vito di Cadore and its surroundings.

Well we did it :) We think this will be the place we will go back also next year :) The hotel is very clean. The personnel nice and friendly. There is always a smile greeting you when you come in :) The breakfast simple but delicious. Apart from hotel, we also like the skiing. Not crowded. The snow is great. It's been recently renovate so the room was very nice and modern. It was also very clean. It was a very pleasent stay and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice quite stay but still very close to cortina. Clean and cozy, and a really nice, easygoing English-speaking landlady. San Vito di Cadore is a small holidayvillage, supermarket just next door. Good informative sheet in the apartment. Bring your own soap and basic kitchen spices.
