Location was lovely as were gardens
Food was excellent but served in shifts eg toast was ordered but came after breakfast after reminders. Probably due to shortage of staff as only 2 in dining area one was doubling up on reception and other seemed inexperienced.
Decor was a bit tired and bathroom could do with updating. Mould around bath didn't help.
Didn't live up to reviews on site.

The room has been refurbished and was lovely and clean. A good touch to have a bottle of water for each guest. Breakfast is good and freshly cooked to order. Food in the restaurant for dinner is always delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub/inn inside and out, Staff are very friendly and professional. Food, although pricey, is absolutely beautiful and worth every penny. As an ale lover, Timothy Taylor Landlord was perfect, better than they serve it down where I live in the midlands.
Room was spacious, nicely presented, clean and tidy.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks.
Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Malham is absolutely beautiful.
Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.

Malham walks are a must.
Malham walks are a must. Two main walks that I did were both great. The malham cove walk is challenging and you need plenty of energy and the second walk to gordale scar/Janet's foss is a very easy walk and a must too. It is also good for dogs. The two pubs are welcoming and friendly. Easy to get around and the old barn cafe has lovely staff and sensible prices.
Absolutely beautiful stay at Miresfield, the rooms were gorgeous so spacious, comfy and decorated beautifully, loved the touch of some homemade biscuits too. Breakfast was fabulous, loveliest staff to welcome us and take our orders for breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect, can take a walk to Malham cove or explore the near by villages, free parking at the hotel too. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning!
The perfect spot to base ourselves for a few days walking in the Dales. Kirkby Malham is a very quiet hamlet a mile from Malham. The Victoria Inn was easy to find, the staff made us very welcome and the food was superb. Buffet/cooked breakfast included in the price. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and every step had been taken to ensure staff and guests were COVID compliant.
beautiful location! right on the river aire which starts less than a mile away at Malham cove. we arrived after a day of walking on the pennine way and couldn’t have hoped for better. a beautiful inn with great rooms, a wonderful restaurant in a gorgeous setting and close to the other pubs and shops in Malham. we didn’t have a dog but wish I did!
Staff were so friendly couldn’t do enough for you, hotel was clean and rooms were modern with great facilities smart TVs in bedrooms with Netflix, food at the restaurant was lovely and fairly priced, good choice at breakfast. Perfect location to explore Malham and surrounding areas. Would definitely come back!
Stayed overnight on a long distance walk. It's close enough to Malham and the Pennine Way goes right thru it. Perfect location. And the FOOD was WOW. Better than either of the pubs in Malham and the real ale selection was impressive. Breakfast was superb as well. Nothing to complain about here.
The breakfast and the food generally was amazing, (best bacon and sausages we've ever had!) Staff was super friendly and nice. The beds were incredibly comfy and the shower was like being down a waterfall (which is obviously really good). What else can I say, very good value for money
Lovely, cosy pub in a beautiful location, perfect for walking around Malham. Excellent food and drink on offer, very dog friendly, and comfortable rooms with the added bonus of White Company toiletries and big, fluffy towels - much needed after a long day of walking!
This little cottage is a gem. Comfortable, warm and cosy and perfectly located for exploring Malham and the surrounding area.
Thank you to the owners for the little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) which were very much appreciated after a long journey.
Relaxed , genuinely dog friendly - particularly the breakfast sausage for dogs !

Food was good , particularly the fish and chips .
The location is perfect for exploring the area .
everything, staff was amazing felt comfortable as soon as I arrived in the hotel, beautiful place spotless in all areas especially for a dog friendly hotel, i never saw one dog hair. food was beautiful and good value.
Stayed here 3 times with the family. It's in an ideal location and cheap and cheerful. There's a kitchen to make your own food or pubs to eat out. I would definitely recommend a visit to Malham and the youth hostel.
Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location in Malham, near the wonderful Malham Cove, & Gordale Scar. A good place to start out from, or take a break on a walk around the dales.
Close to most things in and around Malham. 20 to 30 mins to local pubs with great food. Excellent for walkers with dogs, plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. Close to other towns with things to do.
