Hotel is also close to some great food places, chemist and convenience stores, and it's also situated in a more quiet part of the busy ubud streets.

Stayed in Ubud for 4 nights (22-May to 26-May 2024). Did 1-day Ubud tour and Mt. Batur and Hot Springs. 1-day Ubud tour had attractions like temple for which you need a guide who can give authentic info. Fortunately my driver Ardi was a religious fellow and a devout reader who gave in depth information about not only the temple but Bali culture overall. The others like Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Monkey Forest, Coffee Plantation etc are okay and would not repeat it on the next holiday here. Ubud art market and the other markets I totally stayed away from as I’m not an art person. Mt. Batur sunrise trek is a must do activity and you can add hot springs for fun. Lots of spas, bars and eateries that spoil you for choice. People are extremely friendly. Getting around is easy in a cab or bike (grab/gojek).

We knew Ubud would be busy but we enjoyed the atmosphere and vibrancy. Easy to get around using taxis - our daughter used the Grab app, like Uber but at peak times the traffic moves very slowly. Many of food choices with excellent vegan restaurants such as Zest and Alchemy. Lots to do in Ubud - cultural attractions, entertainment, shopping and relaxing spas.

Ubud is the culture centre of Bali.
Ubud is the culture centre of Bali. Everyone come to Bali must visit Ubud. There's so much activities you can do like visiting the museum, rice terrace and art market. But the traffic here is really chaos. My advise find accomodation outside the Ubud centre.

Ubud is beautiful but if pays to get off the Main Street. It is so so busy. Walking though the rice fields is a good way to get out of the rush. Sadly it’s now hard to find local food, so many restaurants and cafes with western food.

We've just returned from 2 weeks in Bali and our stay at Ubud Valley was the highlight of our trip. The villa was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was the best of any of our hotels- they even had gluten free bread and pancakes and made delicious gluten free afternoon tea. The view from our private infinity pool was a secluded valley where the only thing we could hear was the waterfall below. I have already recommended this hotel to everyone who asks about our trip.
We stayed at Villa Mirah Ubud (two bedroom villa with private pool) as a family of 4. Our kids loved the pool. We have a baby and first step in pool was wide. It was great for him to stand on water and play. Mostly pool was on shadow. That was also great point.
We loved the breakfast. Lots of options and so tasty and quality food. We also ordered lunch and dinner to our villa. It was great taste.
They offer laundry service for 15k/kg.
The rooms were so big. They provided also baby cot.
The whole stay was amazing . The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming.
Special mention to Mr sudi . He helped us a lot with the organization of the trips . The private pool was awesome 🤩we really enjoyed it.
The room cleaning service was good also.
Ubud centre is only 15 min from the hotel on feet or 5 min with car and the hotel offers free shuttle to the center .
The hotel offered a pick up from and to the airport for a reasonable price.
We thank you for your hospitality.
Everything is impressive from the moment of Check-in till the moment of check out
Villa space is excellent
The private pool is clean
Internet speed is reasonably above Good
A lot of programs with the hotel which attract full family , specially the painting ( managed by Mr. Budi )
The Resturant is so good and the Quality of food is brilliant
Completely away from Ubud busy and Noisy Roads
Staff is perfectly trained and Friendly and talk English Smoothly
There are only a few rooms in the property which make it very calm and gives you the feeling you have the hotel just for yourself. The staff is amazing, from the reception, to the cleaning staff and the restaurant, everyone ensure we had
The best stay possible. If you want to have a great experience in ubud stay on this hotel. We stay in the duplex room with private pool, on the ground floor you have the living room and the bathtub and the first floor the room.
Absolutely everything is immaculately clean and well maintained , our room and bathroom was very big, with balcony. The restaurant offers delicious food for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores, made from local sources, as vegan it was the best food by far.
Quiet and peaceful while in 5 minute walking distance to downtown Ubud.
The Spa is worth a visit to get a Balinese massage.
Can highly recommend this marvel of hotel
The best you can stay in Ubud area. The breakfast is excellent and covers all tastes. The staff is polite and willing to serve you. The facilities are around the mountain and the river in the nature. The spa and the team are experts. We stayed two people in the villa with private pool and mountain view. I highly recommend it! Thanks for the perfect stay Royal Pita Maha !
we stayed in Bali for 3 weeks and this is one of the best villas/ hotels we stayed in
-room was spacious
- shower & bathroom was 20/10
-bed was comfy
- wifi was good
- aircon was very powerful
- location was good not too far from town via taxi/ grab
- staff were very helpful
- breakfast was decent
- surrounding area was peaceful
The property is off the beaten path, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and always ready to help!
Adi acted as our private chauffeur driving us around the island and to and back from Ubud center. He is one of the kindest person we’ve met, highly punctual and professional! Adi and the hotel staff deserve 5 stars!
Actually, what I liked the most is how respectful this Resort and staff is , for me it was 5 stars not 4 , i really recommend everyone to book with them
You have all what you need in this hotel from Spa to restaurant to swimming pool and even Yoga sessions
The area is quite and not far from Ubud city center with Scooter or Car
Kaja Villa is like a magical place completely in the nature. The whole day you are just surrounded by nature sounds. The private pool was really deep and big enough to swim.
Yoga fulfills you every wish, always just 1 message away. For me this was the best Hotel in whole Bali because everything was on point. Thanks for everything!
Gorgeous villa with private pool ❤️

The staff were delightful. We walked around the local streets and found some wonderful little restaurants that were SO delicious! Shout out to Cafe Vespa!! Best dragon fruit and banana smoothie!
We loved the location of Villa Nirvana.. in a village just on the edge of busy Ubud x
Fantastic hotel. Little did I know it would be one of the best hotels I stayed in. The pool area is very calm, perfect if you want to rest and read a good book. The room is spacious. Everything was great. Location is within walking distance to anywhere you might want to go in Ubud. Everything was outstanding.
I have lived at Ibah before and I must say that it always delivers. The new management was exceedingly good. Good communication and solved some issues perfectly. I am very satisfied and will book at Ibah next time again. One of Ubud's best hotels in my opinion and I have lived at most of their competitors.
Great service by the hotel. Helped us get a tour around Ubud area and even tickets to Nusa Penida, although at a little overpriced rates.
The staff was very cooperative and helpful.
The room with the private villa was amazing and the whole resort had a calming vibe to it.
The tent and private pool was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every request. They organized a private candlelit dinner at our pool, floating breakfast, shuttles to center of Ubud, Landry and more. It was the best service I have had in any hotel.
Stunning private villas with private pool, very friendly staff to help you with whatever you need. A little tucked away from the town but still easy enough to get there, shuttle to and from
the hotel or they can arrange a taxi if you don’t have a scooter.
In the middle of Ubud, with plenty of restaurants, temples and lovely staff, this hotel offered the best accomodation of our trip in Thailand and Indonesia. Although I didn't use the pool, it looked nice. Room was comfortable and very clean.
- The villa and the private pool was nice.
- away from the noisy road, which made it feel like a sanctuary
- access to the spa (but not the best massages in Ubud. there are better options, for cheaper too)
