This family-run hotel enjoys a countryside location by Road 93, overlooking central Egilsstadir, 2 km away. Free WiFi access in the lobby and garden views can be enjoyed. All was perfect. Great breakfast, room very nice anda comfortable. Thanks!

Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower. There were no meal options here so we stocked up with food at the local shop. The shared kitchen facilities were excellent,well equipped. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. For a shared guest house, I was very impressed. A great stay here, highly recommended.
