The guest house looks exactly as it in the photo, a pretty traditional house with a cute little garden. The owner welcomed me friendly and introduced me good Gwangju food and restaurants (strongly recommend 떡갈비/Korean beef hamburg steak at 세송정/Saesongjeong, a local famous restaurant just 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse). The room is clean, tidy, and bright, with all basic facilities. Access to the guest house is very convenient about 15 minutes walk from the Songjeong KTX station and 10 minutes walk from the Subway Songjeong Park Station. Great accommodation, definitely recommend here for a comfortable rest in Gwangju. Thank you 사장님, best wishes to your family and cute daughter
Joa Guesthouse

Offering a garden and city view, Joa Guesthouse is located in Gwangju, 6.1 km from Kimdaejung Convention Center and 8.3 km from Hannam Industrial Complex. I advise everyone to go there, they are very nice and I had the pleasure of making a new friend there I got a new friend too

There was netflix on the TV which is great because so many hotels force you to watch their crappy paid channels. Big thanks to Mr Max Lee at the concierge. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Bonus of having a convenience shop attached to the hotel too.
