I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay here again the next time Im in Whanganui. The self check-in technology Debby is using makes the entire experince from start to finish a breeze - no hassles at all looking for keys in lock boxes or hoping someone is home to let me in.

Just 1.4 km from the town centre, Gateway Motor Lodge - Wanganui offers free Wi-Fi access and free parking access, including parking for boats, horse floats and trucks. Friendly, clean, local to shops, city etc. We satiated three days and every day there were clean towels, room tidied, fresh milk. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Set amongst Pohutakawa and Oak trees, Fiesta Court Motel offers free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. The motel is located next to Wanganui Hospital and is a 7-minute drive from Wanganui Airport. A well equipped apartment with parking outside. Good facilities. The cleaning staff were very friendly.

ASURE Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge features a garden setting, 600 metres from the CBD and Wanganui Opera House. It offers free on-site parking and unlimited free WiFi access. Very clean. Within walking distance to the main part of town. Comfortable and quiet.

The Grand Hotel is located in the centre of Wanganui, opposite Cooks Gardens Sporting Complex. It offers free parking. All of the comfortable rooms include modern facilities. The room was awesome. Much better than the last time, lots of natural light aswell so it made the room super warm. Room was lovely I even had a bath. Which was great
