The airport is 7 km from PIX Apartments and the boat terminal, with connections to Faial and São Jorge islands, is a few steps from the apartments. Lovely apartment, two bedrooms and 2 good sized bathrooms, had everything you need. Very good value compared to other accomodation on the island.

The rustic, yet modernly-equipped wooden studios and apartments at Alma do Pico - Nature Residence all feature a kitchenette and a private bathroom, with a hairdryer. Free WiFi access is available. All include a patio and are surrounded by a green garden area. We had a wonderful stay at Alma do Pico. The residence is just amazing, ist's perfectly located a bit outside of Madalena center, but not too far away. We found it perfect for starting our trips around the island. The residence itself is also so beautiful and the view to Faial ist just gorgeous! But what was even better was the friendliness and helpfulness of the people there. We felt very welcome and everyone was so considerate to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast every day was so delicious and generous and they prepared a special vegan dish for me every morning! We also had dinner in the Atmosfera restaurant which is a part of the residence and can highly recommend it. Don't miss it! :-) Furthermore, we were helped with getting a rental car and we also booked a massage per the service, which was also amazing. Boasting panoramic views of the Atlantic, these apartments are tucked away in a quiet bay and provide guests with a great base during their stay on Pico Island. The units are just 20 metres from the ocean. Guests can enjoy a swim in a natural pool, directly accessed from the property. Right on the ocean, beautiful space close enough to walk to town and the ferry.
