De ruimte was heel groot en gezellig met veel materiaal voor handen. Ik vond het ook heel praktisch dat er een wasmachine was.

Location is good and available parking is a great benefit in comparison with most of other hotels in Funchal.

Apartments Madeira Old Town ligt in Funchal, op 5 minuten lopen van het strand en de historische binnenstad van Funchal. Location, treatment, we were allowed to stay extra time for free. This is super comfortable, when u travel with child.

The Wine Lodges kijkt uit over de weelderige gemeentelijke tuin en biedt appartementen in het stadscentrum van Funchal. The place is enormous. 3 floors, literally. So it was an amazing suprise, it is an old building with unique atmosphere. Very very well equiped kitchen, it looked truly cosy and clean. Beds were comfortable and the views from bedrooms and terrace were stunning. And the location is great too, we walked from the building straight to the Carneval on the main Street. One of my best accomodations ever.

Het Suite Hotel Eden Mar - Porto Bay ligt in tropische tuinen met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan en beschikt over een buitenzwembad in lagunestijl. Personeel is erg attent (met name receptie en schoonmaak). Complex is erg schoon, ook de tuinen en zwembaden. Onze huwelijksreis was onvergetelijk.

Pestana Casino Studios ligt op 700 meter van het centrum van Funchal en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad en een terras. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Contemporary, clean, and updated. The studio hotel is associated with the larger main, but older hotel so we paid a bit more to stay in a more modern space but benefited from all the amenities in the larger hotel including the pool and the expansive breakfast. Loved our stay very much and felt very comfortable moving about on the property. It’s also across the street from a gas station which doesn’t seem appealing but it was great being able to run over and stock up on drinks and snacks for the room and convenient to fill up on gas for the rental car. Plus, we had a room with a terrace looking over the pool on the backside of the hotel.
