spacious apartment on the very top of Ponza. the bedroom is upstairs, with a large double bed. linens and towels are included and provided (unlike other places in Ponza). bathroom, open kitchen and living room are good. we had a very good stay in this flat. the staff at the office is very kind too, and the driving by Mr. Gino was exceptional, up some ultra-narrow streets with no room for mistake. definitely a highlight of our stay. this flat is way up the hill but totally worth it, the many steps up and down are not a problem, unless you are unfit or very old. there is a little balcony with a nice sunset view. this is a good quality flat at affordable price.

It’s a one bedroom apartment which has been made up from the top floor of a typical Ponza’s terraced house. the stairs communicating with the ground floor are still there and covered with a wooden board. On the ground floor lives an a little old lady, while one side there is another apartment where lives Angela, I am assuming the neighbour taking care to manage Ombretta’s housekeeping. we loved the place, although it was cold, but we were expecting that. the house is well positioned bordering north with a military compound that must have seen better days. the view of west, Palmarola island at the sunset is unique, and one can walk down to the natural pool of Le Forna by 30 minute walk

He also helped us to the harbour when we left the apartment. The situation of the apartment was perfect as well as the size for us two. You didn’t have to climb up the hills to reach shops or bars. The apartment even had a small terasse/yard where you could have your morning coffee. If we ever come back to beautiful the Ponza, we would love to stay in this apartment.
