Amazing apartment, excellent location, just a few minutes from famous market by foot, as same for other locations in Funchal downtown. Very clean and good equipped, plus if you rent a car there is a possibility to park at property location. Also, host Luis always available and very helpful. Don’t think twice to book it.

Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

Perfect location!!! The apartment was clean, big enough for 4 people, quiet. The host was nice enough to allow us to check in 1 hour early and leave our luggage in the morning. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. I would cone back any time!

The apartment was much bigger than expected and incredibly clean. The host met us promptly, even when our flight was earlier than expected, warmly welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for everywhere we wanted to visit, really central to the old town and new town. The air conditioning was an absolute life saver in the hot August weather. The appartment is accessed down a small alleyway which is lined with chairs and tables for a restaurant. We went to the restaurant on the first night, (its recommended in the mitchelin guide) it was lovely, and amazing to be able to step into it from your front door! Despite there being restaurants and bars the room was quiet with only the occasional noise of people coming and going inside the appartment block. There was a lift which made arriving with our cases easy too. Plus we were able to leave our case in the shop below the appartment on check out at 11am, which was helpful as the streets are cobbled and it would have been awkward carrying them for a few hours. We couldn't ask for more (except maybe a toaster!)

Nice cosy apartment in the city center with walking distance to anything in Funchal. Very clean and modern. Apartment has anything you might need (except oven) and fancy smart house / alarm controller that you will learn to use. The checkin can be done in nearby Madeira Hotel where you can use free luggage room and even some facilities i.e. top pool.

Try and see if you can get one of the top flats as you get an even better view out to sea.

The bed was comfortable, we had a cleaning at half of the week. Airport bus stops at front of the building, grocery store in 2-300 m. You can reach the city center in 30 min on foot or 10 min by bus.
