The guesthouse is a nice old house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is very clean. The owner, Senora Mayela, is a treasure as well, a warm-hearted person. Staff was great and Kenneth was an excellent host. This is a National Heritage building and was still under restoration but could be an excellent place when completed. We were comfortable, the place was clean and surroundings were quiet, the attached terrace was a great place for sitting outside to read and eat. Walking distance to everywhere.

This is a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day or two in San Jose. His local knowledge and willingness to share that and assist me was truly exceptional.
