Missed out on the full breakfast experience due to an early morning flight but were packed off with a lovely fruit salad & juice. Very big spacious, cool room.

The room was spacious and tidy and the breakfast was fine. The bed was very comfortable and big. Would definitely recommend a stay over.

The guesthouse is a nice old house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is very clean. The owner, Senora Mayela, is a treasure as well, a warm-hearted person. She took the best care of me, and our conversations were delightful! If you need a cozy place to stay in downtown San Jose, look no further. This is it! Thank you, senora Mayela, for everything!

The place is comfortable and beautiful. With exceptional art and decorations. The cool and refreshing evening air makes for restful and cozy sleep. It was so nice to not have to use an AC.

Pura Vida Dream er gististaður með garði í San José, 49 km frá Poas-þjóðgarðinum, 4,1 km frá La Sabana Metropolitan-garðinum og 5,5 km frá Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. Staff was great and Kenneth was an excellent host. This is a National Heritage building and was still under restoration but could be an excellent place when completed. We were comfortable, the place was clean and surroundings were quiet, the attached terrace was a great place for sitting outside to read and eat. Walking distance to everywhere.

Had a really good stay here the property is super clean and a well stocked kitchen. The staff were super helpful and attentive. The property was also so good and secure.

Additionally, Fabien went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, got settled into Costa Rica, and literally went above and beyond in every single way to help me with whatever I needed. The home is small, but extremely clean. He was very respectful of my space and my needs and I felt completely safe and comfortable. This is a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day or two in San Jose. His local knowledge and willingness to share that and assist me was truly exceptional. I will encourage any family and friends heading to Costa Rica to start their trip with him.
