The pod was perfect for what we were looking for. Somewhere cheap but classy to stay whilst attending Cheltenham Festival. The Pod was nice and comfortable and would be a great place to go for a romantic retreat with a partner. You are in the middle of nowhere so if you do book for the same reason to attend the festival, you really have to be careful to organise transport well in advance as you will get caught out otherwise. Great place, beautiful countryside, would fully recommend.

Restaurant was nicely located overlooking the lakes and lots of wildlife
The cottage was in a wonderful setting surrounded by lakes, walks and wildlife. It was beautifully decorated and clean.
Fantastic location close to a pretty river, church and ruins and near to Cotswold Wildlife Park. The cottage itself was lovely, not as big as expected but a good size for our family with comfy beds and nice bathrooms.
Lovely old building with plenty of character. Conveniently located for trips to Kelmscott Manor and the Cotswold Wildlife Park. The pub served a range of decent beers and the food was perfectly cooked and well presented. Breakfast menu options included black pudding or kippers. :) Very friendly staff.
The location of the Hares Rest was amazing! The views from the window across the countryside was stunning. It was lovely to share the space with so many farm animals and wildlife. The hut itself was lovely, clean, well laid out and had a homely feel with great facilities.
As they say,the room's are not fussy. It's a very old building, and nothing is a perfect fit ,but this all adds to its charm and the character of the Inn. The beds are comfy, tea/coffee in room, nice hot shower/bath. Amazing beer garden on the River Thames. Staff and locals make you feel welcome. Breakfast is amazing, even though we ate out in the evening, the restaurant was packed. Lechlade is a beautiful place to stay, and so many places to walk not far from The New Inn. I would so highly recommend this place.
Booked this for my partners 21st as he wanted to go diddly squat farm shop and this hotel was the good value for money 10 minute drive from the farm shop. Book a double room and was expecting just a normal hotel shower but I was surprised when there was a bath (big enough for two people) aswell as a shower separate in the same room. Our room had a balcony facing the car park and the sunset was so beautiful and relaxing just sitting on the balcony. 10/10 hotel I would recommend this hotel!!
Everything - the contact beforehand from Becky was fantastic and the instructions were spot on. The house is absolutely stunning and perfect for our needs with our elderly father and two dogs. The view from the cottage are heavenly and I love that you can enjoy the space in sun or if it had rained (which it didn't!). The location is ideal too - a stones throw from so many lovely places to visit and eat at and the wildlife around the cottage was stunning.
This was a really lovely country hotel in a fantastic location perfect for a holiday in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds wildlife park is 10 min drive. Being an old house it had those historic original features which added to its charm.Room comfortable and clean, food in the restaurant was excellent, good portion size meant value for money. We had the Sunday roast which was lovely. Beautiful garden areas and beer garden.
