Our family room was super spacious and modern, with a good en suite bathroom. It was quiet and comfortable. There was a good storage room downstairs where we could leave our bikes securely. The hotel is well located for the Drau cycle path and the station. It's a short walk into town. We didn't use the pool because the weather wasn't great but we would have if it had been warmer!

An eclectic choice of rooms. In the end I settled for a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel, which turned out to be blissfully quiet, with none of the ambient noise you get from modern hotels.
The bar and restaurant area was friendly and lively, very welcome after a week in relatively characterless establishments further east. The trout I ordered was delicious.
The family-run B&B Pension Karlsdorfer Hof enjoys a quiet location next to the Spittal junction of the A10 motorway. It offers a large family friendly garden with panoramic mountain views.

We had a suite in the penthouse area of the hotel which was very modern and clean, very comfortable beds! We both had an amazing sleep. The panoramic views of the alps were breathtaking. Great shower and over all very comfortable stay. The host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She recommended some local restaurants which we went to an Italian near the hotel. Great food! Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Really wished we stayed longer. Such a super hotel. Highly recommend

Great stay for 1 night travelling through Austria with the kids. They enjoyed themselves a lot. Great staff. It's an all inclusive concept where you choose your dinner at check in or the day before. Food is fresh and healthy but personally we prefer a à la carte menu.
This is one of the best hotels I've been in my life. A perfect location on a mountain shoulder, a stunning view, a cozy village for long walks outside - and the most lovely and helpful hosts. By the way, the food is on another level as well so I highly recommend having a dinner at the place.
