    ALBANY is amazing.

ALBANY is amazing. We have visited numerous times over the past 20 yrs but the first cabin No 1 Rose Gardens at Emu Point was awful. We asked to be moved and for an extra fee we were offered much better accommodation which was lovely. The managers were friendly...however not happy that we thought the first cabin was dirty and run down.

Albany has a lot to offer. We enjoyed the town with its art galleries, woodwork gallery, helpful tourist information office, food and coffee outlets. Visit the Vancouver Arts Centre for interesting installations as well as the historic old hospital building. The Albany Heritage Park and National Anzac Centre are well worth visiting and revisiting - what a wealth of historical information in an engaging, interactive display! Nearby coastal highlights at Emu Point and The Gap and Natural Bridge are not to be missed. This is an area of stunning natural beauty.

Albany is beautiful especially at this time of the year. Loads of nice restaurants and cafes to visit. Well stocked supermarkets for some self catering. Plenty of places to visit and explore. Wilson’s brewery was our favourite place to visit. We went twice 😃Also loved seeing the chainsaw sculpture drive.

The house is large and all facilities are clean. Kitchen is great with gas stove, microwave, oven, fridge, kettle and so on. Two bedrooms are large and comfortable. There are TVs in the living room and major bedroom. There is also a garage just outside the house. A small playground with slides for kids is located in front of the house. We really enjoyed our time there. Besides, the location is also good. Easy to drive to anywhere in Albany. The staff are very nice. BTW, the free breakfast is great! Don’t miss it.

The breakfasts were absolutely superb - every day. Well appointed bathroom that made the most of the space. The room was spacious and had everything that we wanted. The location overlooking Middleton Beach was excellent and there is a balcony so you can make the most of it. Walking to local shop, bar, restaurant & fish & chip shop - then along the beach. We were lucky with the weather and a super full moon in Albany, but there is so much to do - we'll be back.

We only booked a 1 bedroom apartment but scored a 2bedroom. Not that we used the 2nd bedroom. The apartment had everything you need for a long stay and we were very sorry we only booked 2 nights. In fact, we tried to book another night but it was full. Albany has so much to see and do and we only saw a fraction. It was just a quick stroll to Middleton Beach which is very pretty and a bar, coffee shop, boutique and fish n chip shop less than a block away.

We really enjoyed our stay at salt 112. It was very modern and felt very welcoming. It’s located in one of Albany’s nicest suburbs, Middleton Beach. The beach is an easy 10min walk and the town is a short scenic drive away. The huge enclosed backyard was a bonus for our dogs and the fish & chip shop down the road was very convenient.

Exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff were super friendly. Child friendly environment. A stone away from the Middleton Beach. So close to the Albany City. This was my second visit and can confirm the property held its standards as is from my earlier visit in 2017.
