The property sits in a beautiful garden area, off the road, so it was nice to sit on our balcony and watch the birds.

A great little town with so much to see in the town plus in nearby areas. The bakery, Gold Museum and gaol plus so much more, 2-3 days could easily be spent here. Being autumn time, the tree colours were magnificent.

Beechworth is a great place to visit at any time however, in autumn the colours are spectacular and as a keen photographer, I had plenty to photograph. There are also many activities in Beechworth and it's surrounds to have something meaningful to do every day. The weather was delightful.

Never enough time to see Beechworth.
Never enough time to see Beechworth. Easy walking to the different amenities. Very historical town and well worth the effort to see what is on display such as the court house, Burke Museum. Great eating at night time in the bistro at the Hotel Nicholas, but book ahead as it was flat out. Meals were amazing and well priced.

Been to Beechworth before but it is just delightful especially in Autumn. Nice lot of shops and walks if you like. Just relaxing in the sun is always good. Lots of history to explore if you like. Lots of good cycling too if that's your thing.

Very friendly people, especially in the Visitor's Centre.
Very friendly people, especially in the Visitor's Centre. They have recommendations for tours and useful maps. Beautiful town to just wander around but also lots to do and see. The self-guided cemetery tour is fascinating, as is the prison tour. Don't miss the Burke Museum with its row of shop fronts from Old Beechworth. Listen to stories from the past in the Telegraph Museum. On Mayday Hills you can go on a history or ghost tour of the old asylum which is very informative. Also, there are escape rooms and a great puzzle shop! Visit Bilson's brewery for free tastings of the many flavours of cordial (or alcoholic drinks), and the Beechworth Honey shop for honey tastings. There is also the lolly shop and the Beechworth Bakery and lots of other eateries in town. Should be a definite stop for anyone travelling in the area!
The apartment was well fitted out. The bed was comfortable with a separate room and we slept well. The en-suite was large with plenty of space for our toiletries. We had a large sitting and dining room. While being Tuesday, the hotel bistro was not open and there were very few places open foe evening meals. However, the Nicholas hotel, about 400m down the road, while not looking great from the outside, was amazing inside and the food was very good. Beechworth itself is rich in historic buildings. The historic walk is well worth doing.
We loved the grounds.. the old art deco type building.. we upgraded to a bigger room with air con which was huge.. very clean. Very comfy bed .We normally stay in Beechworth on our way through and will stay here in future, parking is good. Sure, it's quirky because of its history but that makes it more unique and its nice to see a new life to this place.. we didn't have the breakfast and the whole town was in blackout from about 7pm to 10/11pm but no fault of hotel.
This is a great cottage in a quiet part of Beechworth with fantastic views to a duck pond with the ducks and a magnificent forest just behind us.
Set back from the main road with everything you need for self catered stay. A well equipped kitchen and spacious living area means you have plenty of space to relax whether with friends or family.
Spotlessly clean, great beds, heating and cooling easy to operate and clean.
Close to everything that is worth visiting in Beechworth. Walk to shoppes and many restaurants. Quiet location in spite of proximity. Historic Gaol nearby famous for incarcerating Ned Kelly...hence the name "Amour". Has a small solar heated pool (Didn't try) and on-site off-street parking right in front of rooms on the ground floor. Melissa, very helpful managerial staff with suggestions for restaurants and massage.
I stayed there 3 years ago and was keen to return, I love the art deco building and the garden setting. Last time I enjoyed breakfasts at the separate hotel, however this time (most likely due to covid) there was a salad bowl of the wherewithal for breakfast in the room. I assumed this was to cover my 2 day stay (there was plenty in it) but another appeared for the second day.
It was a very clean, comfy, warm room big enough for the two of us, but best of all it was right in the middle of town next to a pub serving Guinness on tap! We were able to walk to everything in Beechworth and take short drives to interesting locations in the N-E of Victoria. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
In a great part of Beechworth. A fairly short downhill walk to town anda doable uphill walk to get back to the hotel. Enjoyed the grounds and the general facilities of the hotel. Bathroom was great. Large shower and spacious vanity. Would stay here again.
I loved this beautifully presented boutique hotel. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very conveniently located - just a short walk into the town. All the little extra touches were very much appreciated, and I left wishing I was staying longer.
Located right at the heart of the city centre, it provided easy access to all the beautiful sights of the Beechworth streets. Hot shower, super comfy bed, and generous placement of heating in every room meant that the cool nights were of no issue.
We really enjoyed our stay at Beechworth, the reception lady was very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The scenery and outlook was very picturesque and it's really quiet area of town.
Location was good. We had our own breakfast. Not many properties have two bedrooms and two bathrooms it suited us perfectly. Had a lovely view over the property. We would stay there again if we were in Beechworth.
The breakfast was great. Poached eggs just as I asked for and really nice bacon.
The motel room was more like a hotel room and tidied beautifully every day. Clean and really warm with thoughtful touches.
the location was great for sightseeing around Beechworth. The house was well set up for our group. Enjoyed sitting out around the fire pit at night watching the stars. Had all our meals at the house.
