Lovely, comfortable apartment with everything you could want. Great view over the river from the verandah. The whole apartment was styled beautifully, with a large modern bathroom. very pleased to find laundry facilities and a clothes line. Thank you.

Merino Cottage Meadowbank Lake is a destination and sanctuary. Driving through the merino farm to get to the Cottage was a wonderful experience. There is plenty of heaters and extra blankets, a TV, books and games to enjoy. We arrived to a lovely warm house equipped with fresh milk, orange juice, a variety of cereals, bread and condiments. The pantry also had extra condiments which is great when you are travelling as this property is on a working farm so not near shops. We had the most restful and relaxing stay. Only a few weeks before our April stay, people had visited who swam in the nearby waterhole! We really appreciated having a washing machine and dryer available, as we were moving around Tasmania and not always had those facilities. PIP is a great host & we loved meeting her and hearing about the history of the farm and her family’s connection to the area. All in all, this is a fabulous place to stay.
