Been coming to Merimbula since I was very young. Was great to finally bring my young family! Absolutely love the food and beaches but mostly the people! Everyone is lovely and smiling. Great place to bring younger kiddos too for the safe beach/bay. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed Mid February, just after the School Holidays ended, so the crowds would have been reduced. Still, there was a great "vibe" to the town, beaches, and surrounds. Merimbula was a great starting point to travel up & down the coast visiting other locales, such as Eden, Tathra, and the numerous beaches/parks/lakes along the Sapphire Coast.

Merimbula was suprisingly busy for a country town and traffic was at a standstill in the main downtown area at times. I don't know if this was normal for this time of the year (February). We did a number of day trips to surrounding areas such as Eden, Boydtown, Candelo and Tathra. We had hoped to visit Kameruka but it was closed to the public. Local seafood was good and the oysters, in particular, were delicious.

The room was very clean and comfy.
The room was very clean and comfy. Parking was smooth and easy, right in front of the room. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and the back veranda. The aircon was also good. Wifi didn't work so well.
Merimbula is a great place for staying and relaxing. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. Nice shopping, restaurants, and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast at MorMors Cafe. The "Top Fun" amusement centre was also a great experience.

Victoria, it was not as busy as what we thought. I enjoyed doing a lot of walks especially the boardwalk trail. Easy to find your way around town.
The Oysters are really fresh. try their oyster factories. don't fall for the $8 per dozen advert though. apparently they are real small oysters. ((probably shouldn't even be harvested). the $20/dozen are a good size.
Try the Wheelers ( Pambula) restaurant. decent food.
Fantastic location. The beach was our backyard! It meant that we could just walk everywhere, no car and just relax. The heated pool was fantastic too when we wanted to mix it up.
The unit itself had everything we needed. Fully equipped. Very comfortable and quiet.
We were greeted from the moment we arrived and the staff checked in on us to let us know they were around if we needed them. Loved that.
Definitely coming back. This is our new place to stay in Merimbula.
Perched on the crest of the hill the motel offers exceptional views over Merimbula to the ocean. Remembering it’s an old style 60’s Motel, the reno is giving it a new lease of life. Linen... five star, toiletries exceptional boutique, big screen Samsung TV, great books and decor. Hard to fault. Loved the complementary croissants baked locally for bfast. Great staff and owner Casper always available for a chat about his dreams.
Location was perfect! Nice and quiet.

I have been staying at Tasman Holiday Park for our trips to Merimbula over the last 20yrs. It’s close to town for a walk or drive. Pleasant staff and a warm swimming pool. It’s all excellent.
Good location in the lovely Fishpen area with a great beach for swimming & surfing, inlet for SUP & fishing, park , fish n chips & 2 coffee shops. Unit was very clean.
Location was great, so close to the beach, short walk to Cranky Cafe who serve the best coffee in Merimbula! Swimming pools and water slides were a hit with the kids!
