Pub had great atmosphere and good food and drink. Really easy check in and great location. Ladies bathrooms were new and very clean - note we had a room with a shared bathroom. Bed was comfy and room had good air-conditioning and a sink, fridge etc.
Featuring an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and BBQ facilities, Soldiers Motel is just 7 minutes' drive from Mudgee Airport. It offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen and satellite TV.
We really enjoyed our stay in Mudgee. There were nature walks and sculpture walks. We had a quick look around the art gallery that had a great exhibition. The old station and art centre were very interesting. We did have good weather so took advantage of being outside a lot of the time. Several cafes and coffee shops. A great place to visit for a few days.

Mudgee is a short drive from Sydney and a great weekend away. There are a range of dining and accommodation options to choose from. The reason we repeat visit this region is for the wineries, definitely worth a visit.

Town well presented, and interesting in history. I stayed one night in transit but will plan a longer stay and will recommend to friends.
I loved the statue and background of Louisa Lawson.

Mudgee is an attractive country town surrounded by vineyards and has a lot of significant history. It’s a short distance from Gulgong, which is a must see if you want to understand the history of the area. It has probably the best museum in the country and a brilliant photographic museum too. There are not many towns with an opera house!

Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable.
Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable. It was an easy walk round town to shops, eating facilities, coffee, pub, club, art centre,
We visited winery not far out of town and experienced a wine tasting complete with hampEr and we bought other delicious goods on offer. We have been buying wine from this winery for more than 30 years so was terrific to go back and meet the new owner and see it again for old times sake.
The Arts and Crafts Centre at the Railway Station has a collection of beautiful items. Trip to Gulgong, not so far away was a blast from the past with old wares shops and museum.
The place was awesome to stay, giving a modern and stylish look to the whole apartment. It had all the facilities needed, from something as small as a needle to a whole kitchen for cooking a full meal dinner. The beds were extremely comfy and big enough to easily sleep two people. It was within walking distance to the city centre, restaurants, pubs, and attractions. The place has separate parking for cars at the backside of the apartment. All in all, it was a lovely and fulfilling experience. Will comeback again for sure!
Very clean, lots of parking, large shower and plenty of hot water. Of special note: excellent lighting making reading anywhere, including in bed, a breeze - so rare to get good lighting in hotels/motels these days as mostly rooms are annoyingly dim. Weather was cold and damp outside during our stay but room was cosy all night - we left reverse-cycle heating on overnight. V comfortable bed, linens and towels. Generous assortment of toiletries.
This lodge had everything we needed for a cosy one night stay in Mudgee. The fridge was kindly stocked with fresh milk, juice and even zooper dupers. Loads of space to stretch out and relax. The bathroom was clean and the shower had lots of hot water. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows were not too high for my neck. Loved the electric blankets that warmed up the beds just before you hopped in.
The space provided in our room, the Generals Den, for our 3 night stay was fabulous. It was really convenient to have a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of power points to charge our devices. The staff were helpful and friendly. The motel is conveniently located close to a supermarket and a number of hotels and Club Mudgee.
The room was amazing! Very boutique. Bed was comfortable and it was great to be able to stream through the Apple TV. Kitchen was fantastic - you could easily cook a whole meal there, however the hotel is so well located that it was fantastic to walk to all of the wonderful bars and pubs for dinner, and great cafes for breakfast.
Great location and property, I wish we could have stayed longer! The host was very communicative and thoughtful in making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The property is beautifully decorated as well as functional, we especially loved the hot tub and record player! Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Mudgee.
Travelling with a group of friends, staying in the same building yet we all have our own space. Each unit is decorated lovingly to a theme and is very spacious. Nice to have somewhere to sit together in the evening. Lots of extra little touches and diagonally across from the Oriental Hotel, where they serve nice food.
The cottage is beautifully presented and has everything you need. Location is great only is short walk to the town centre. Great outdoor courtyard with bbq and fireplace. Our group was in Mudgee for a cycling weekend and there is plenty of room to store the bikes in the courtyard.
The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was there.
The linen, furniture and kitchen items were high quality. The bathroom was clean & lovely. The old building that houses the Perry St Hotel has been skillfully renovated.
We enjoyed the spacious top floor room with balcony, the bed was comfortable and the room was noise proof from the road traffic. The hotel also had a charming coffee house attached to it. An easy walk into town and to the river.
Cottage was cool on arrival as hosts had put air conditionaing on, there was milk margarine and condiments for breakfast. Cottage located central to shops and restaurants everything was excellent.
The amazing view of Mudgee from high above! The accommodation also have an amazing entertainment system and many kitchen and bath supplies! Totally recommend for a big group of guests!
The cabin is on the edge of town, quiet, spotless, comfy and has been designed like a boutique hotel. It is a great use of a small space and perfect for a weekend away.
