The hotel was good, could do with some renovations. It was clean and the location is great. There are few parking spots outside but you have to pay extra, there is also another car park near by. It’s a short stroll to town centre, shops, pharmacies, the old town and the beach but the area is quiet. Most rooms have sea view. The hotel manager Natasha is absolutely amazing, super helpful and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

Great location. Staff tried very hard and succeeded to make us feel very welcome despite it being right at the end of the season and not particularly used to English tourists.

This is a beautiful historic seaside town, with so much to do and see, with wonderful seafood restaurants serving fresh fish caught each day from the local fisherman. I would say it is very charming and romantic rather than touristy. Beaches were amazing and the harbour lovely. I would advise to try to book a room with balcony overlooking the harbour if you can. We were lucky enough to do this and it was wonderful. The streets in the old town are cobbled so make sure to wear sensible walking shoes!

Sozopol is a lovely and quaint old town, with beautiful views, reasonable prices and tasty local food. Local artisans are still available - for paintings, jewelry or other objects. It has nice beaches and offers a good alternative for spending a seaside holiday, as compared to the other Bulgarian seaside resorts - we prefer it.

Sozopol genuinely has something for everyone - great beaches, great places to eat and drink, a delightful old town, history a-plenty, but also nightlife of all kinds if that's your thing. Every year when we discuss where to stay on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, wherever else we visit, we always end up spending at least a few days in Sozopol.

Sozopol is a former fishermen village and they kept the architecture. The old town is wonderful to walk in, lots of places to eat well, lots of buildings to admire. Don't miss out the local Museums. Sozopol has 2 major nice beaches, but don't be shy, go also along the rocks, you will like the small areas there flooded with wild sea life. If you are lucky, you may be fortunate to see the local shows held in the Amphitheatre. You will find a lot of small art galleries, and hand made things and really cool street food.

Old town is really nice. come and spend 3-4 days not much.
Old town is really nice. come and spend 3-4 days not much. Most restaurants are too expensive and not on quality you expect. Beaches are not good so you must travel to have a great day on the beach. Definitely go to Sozopolo when Apolonia is there. Parking is close to impossible.

Amazing place with lots to see and experience.
Amazing place with lots to see and experience.
Tons of giftshops, some with actually handmade art and souvenirs.
Old Town is amazing, lots of live music.
Do be prepared to spend a lot of money though, like a lot of tourist destinations the prices are on the higher end.
The Family that manages the hotel is very kind and friendly.
The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the 2 main Sozopol beaches and 15 minutes walk from Sozopol Old Town. 1 minute walk from the main street where corner shops and street food shops can be found.
The room was very spacious and welcoming, bathroom was very clean, towels were included. Great view of Harmanite Beach from the balcony, which also had chairs and a small table.
There's also a shared kitchen on the ground floor and a very pretty garden.
That is probably one of the best places you could stay in the area. Location is perfect if you want to spend your holiday just relaxing on the beach, but also really convenient if you want to enjoy the old town of Sozopol, as its just >10 minutes away by taxi. The facility overall is brand new, everything is really clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant
The hotel was located at the very end of the Old Town of Sozopol, located above the cliffs, offering an amazing view from the room's balcony. Everything was very clean and cosy, the room has everything necessary also for having a snack (fridge, hot water kettle, cutlery) and was nicely decorated. The staff were extremely friendly and there was an excellent restaurant, also with a sea terrace.
Great location to discover Sozopol old town and central beach in the morning and by night- walk just 7-10min., just bear in mind it's up the hill:) Family run place with a great atmosphere, very cozy and clean, lots of space in apartment, beautiful siting area in the small garden. Wonderful owners, extremly helpful, offered us a lift from the bus stop- many thanks!! A place to return:)
Our room had a sea view. The location is a 3 min walk to the beach yet at night it was quiet so you dont hear any music from the beach bars.
bus stop to/from Sozopol is right in front of the hotel. Beds were comfortable; quiet aircon; friendly staff. Also the cleanliness was exceptional and breakfast had variety of baked goods each morning.
Lastly, spacious parking at the hotel.
We had a great time at Perla beach hotel- friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent location( close to Sozopol beaches and Kavatsite , but away from the crowd). Small restaurants and supermarkets, including Lidl are close by. The breakfast was very tasty- princesses and pancakes were our favorite). If you looking for a place to feel home, that is the place! We recommend this hotel!
Great little hotel outside of the noisy and crowded area of Sozopol. New and beautiful building with nice garden. Clean and comfortable rooms and a nice balcony. There is a private parking space which is an important asset in Sozopol where you pay to park on the street. Very nice and welcoming owners who were available to help whenever we needed them. Very close to the beach.
This is the first time for us to book All inclusive vacations in Bulgaria. My expectations were below average. For my surprise hotel Selena Beach turned to be an excellent place to stay. Extremely nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, pools and dining facilities. The food was good and diverse. Definitely a place to stay, recommend and return.
Perfect choice for a very relaxing seaside vacation! 1 minute away from 2 beaches, 1 public, 1 private (with reasonable prices), clean Black Sea water, 20 minutes walking distance from the Sozopol Old Town, great hotel own restaurant and very clean and quiet location, with very friendly staff. Just great!
Freshly renovated house. Great location on the edge of Sozopol old town and very close to the central beach as well as to restaurants and cafes. Spacious and very clean bedrooms. Great value for money at the rate we payed. The host was very helpful and communication was great.
The hotel was great. The staff was really nice. Our room was clean and modern. We had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the centre, the old town and the beaches. I really recommend this place for perfect vacation in Sozopol.
The hotel is very close to the beach, the room very very clean, modern decorated, the staff super nice, helpful and offer us a lot if information. The location is very well taking care if of. No noise, no load music, we have to complain about.
Good parking possibilities 50-100m from the hotell. It took maybe 10 minutes to walk to the beach. There was one or two restaurants within walking distance, but to get more to chose from I think you need to go to the city center or old town.
Breakfasts were delicious surprises, the apartments are charming and well equipped, and it’s a short walk to the beach, shopping and many restaurants. Bulgarian hospitality at its finest provided by resident hosts, Violeta and Todor!
Best resort for cost in Bulgaria by far. Big property, good food, great location in secluded bay but close enough to Sozopol if you want to go into town by taxi (5 km away).
Location is good, and the room and balcony are spacious. The sea view was good, and the hotel is a reasonable walk from both the beach and the old town.
