It was very clean and a very comfortable stay. No smell. They have a canoe and kayaks in the property for free use. They have gas bbqs, but we brought our own charcoal bbq. We sat near the lake while we watch the sunset. We also enjoyed the bonfire so much. It was a plus. I’d book this property again in the future.

We stayed two nights in Dwight, exploring the lakes on the area by jetski in the day. There are lots of lakes yo explore. All are really pretty. We would have liked to have had more time to paddle and swim. We went for a hike in the rain in Algonquin Park on our last partial day.

Dwight was lovely a quaint small Town had a pharmacy and a small grocery store. Had a LCBO, had an amazing bakery. Everything you need is there. So very close to Algonquin Park to have great adventures walking the many trails. Perfect location.

The view was great. Location was just right.
The view was great. Location was just right. The room had cob webs in the corners. The carpet was discussing. The cutlery was dirty. The room looked over used and kept up. The price is too high for what they offer. The Kayaks had water in them.
The cottage is small and simple, but has all essentials - comfortable beds, a kitchenette, lots of hot water for showers/baths and fast wifi. There is a grassy play area with swings at the front and Dwight beach is 1-2 mins walk. There is a bakery, general store, post office and gift shop within 5-10 mins walk. Algonquin provincial park with assorted hiking trails and opportunities for canoe trips is nearby (20-30 mins drive). Overall, a fantastic place to stay!
We prefer motels because we can park the motorcycles in front of the room. This also gives us quick and easy access to smoke outside. The owners have done a wonderful job maintaining the property. There are fire pits and bbqs available for guests to use. This is our second stay here this year with many more to come. I previously gave the motel an average review due to a mixup in rooms which was addressed immediately by the host. I will try to update that review.
Quaint accommodation, very clean and good choice for couple and families. Very helpful staff! Beach is small but offers good swimming and use of kayaks was a nice touch. Nearby Algonquin park and Dwight Beach are fantastic day trips. Be sure to visit Oxtongue Rapids about 10 min away.
Easy to check in! Great location not far from Algonquin but there’s also a lot to do nearby! We were rained out but we still enjoyed our time having the beach so close by made it really easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying where we would go if it started pouring
This was our third year coming to Spring Lake!
The rooms are always clean, the bed is super comfy and the staff are fabulous.
We love going to dwight beach just down the road, and spending the evenings in Huntsville on the dock and going to dinners.
The beach location is awesome, the property is short walking distance to grocery store and Coffee shop, Property purchase a couple of new canoe and added jet sky to rent. The BBQs were renewed, and parking lot is near by the properties
When you refer to this hotel only good words and images come out of your soul. We are talking about an extremely hospitable family who generously offer you a small paradise to spend beautiful moments with your loved ones.
We loved that it was quiet and so close to a few of the hikes we wanted to do in Algonquin. Dan was an amazing host who went out of his way for us . We will be definitely booking again in the near future
The location was great and the staff were very helpful. Liked having a cook top and fridge so we could bring our own food seeing there are very few restaurants near by
View was awesome, location was very good, in place free kayak and canoe with life jacket. close to local market for every day shopping, drug store and LCBO near by.
Accommodation is clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. I need a print for my day permit for the park, and they helped me with that.
Near Algonquin west gate.
