Breakfast was not included, but the kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils, dishes, pots, and other materials for cooking. Best we'd seen yet.

This is an excellent place to relax and unwind, and explore other areas in NS South Shore/ lighthouse route (we particularly enjoyed spending time in Lunenburg -where we ate twice at the Half Shell restaurant, delicious!- and Queensland beach) Go for a pizza at Betty's, walk around the town and visit the nice little stores, and take a photo of the famous three churches.

The Village of Mahone Bay is so picturesque and very walkable. There are lovely shops, galleries and cafes. We stayed overnight on St. Patrick's Day and had a dinner reservation at the Mug & Anchor Pub. We had a lovely seafood dinner with an amazing view. There was an excellent 3 piece band of piano, guitar and lead vocals singing Irish, Scottish and Celtic songs as well as famous rock ballads from the seventies. It was a wonderful evening!

Store hours....not so great but if you were there longer than we were....it would have been fine.We had dinner at Rebecca's and that was magnificent. The streets are tight but that is because of how popular The Bay is....Just a sweet place to visit....over and over!!!!

Mahone Bay is picturesque and has all the services you are likely to need. It makes a great base for biking excursions to Chester, Lunenburg and Grey Rocks, several beaches, Blockhouse BernArt maze, Bridgewater and its hinterland. One could easily stay for several days to explore all directions and enjoy several of the charming restaurants.

This little village is lovely and the locals are extremely nice. We were only there for 2 days but would have stayed longer if we had had the time. We highly recommend the Mug and Anchor and Circa 1860 Kitchen + Public House. The Amos Pewter workshop and flagship store are located here as well and should not be missed.

Mahone Bay was a beautiful area.
Mahone Bay was a beautiful area. We had never been there before. It was a great location to explore from. We wanted to go to the Ross Farm Museum and Lunenburg. We were in easy driving distance for both and saw many interesting things in the area
We loved our stay. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. I prefer smaller and boutique properties like this to chain hotels but sometimes the hosts can be over attentive and it can feel awkward. In this case, the hosts were perfect, we knew exactly where they were if we needed anything, but they left us to relax and imbibe the atmosphere and the vibe of this lovely little town. We feel like locals already. Breakfast was lovely, sausages particularly enjoyable. We’ll definitely go back.
Cathy is a wonderful host. Before the first breakfast she said that she's "all about the food" and it's true. The food was delicious, all fresh ingredients and different each day. She went above and beyond to help make our stay there and our visit to the area the best possible. Mahone Bay is a lovely spot with good restaurants and a great feel. Also, an excellent jumping off point for day trips. Comfortable room, clear communication and interesting conversation when we sought it out.
the Hermans House is an excellent place to stay, the setting is conducive for relaxing, The white tail deer in the field next door are friendly and adds to the ambience of a country home. The front deck porch is so idea to enjoy the sun and view of the fields and harbour. the location of Hermans House is ideal and central to visit Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Danielle is genuine and so hospitable, a person we would like to know more if we lived here.
The Bayview Pines overlooks the Mahone Bay and is situated ~10 minutes by car from the small town. We stayed in the loft apartment which was large and airy. This apartment has windows on three sides which allowed cooling cross ventilation. There is a large, private balcony sitting area to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. It all provided for a very pleasant 3-day stay in the area.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the breakfast was absolutely superb and set you up for the day.
The location was ideally situated for our daily excursions and sight seeing. A very quiet and peaceful setting to relax and sleep easily after daily travel. I have recommended this to friends and colleagues and would go back again if we decided to visit the Mahone bay area again.
A lovely stay with every morning a choice of eggs or Joghurt Musil, which just made your start in the day….delicious…
The room was nicely decorated, cosy and comfortable. We would sit on the veranda and enjoy the view. We had a
wonderful stay, visiting the area in Mahone Bay. Lovely town and we were lucky to be there for their Halloween festival.
Our hosts were very informative and made our stay very welcoming.
Beautiful accommodation located on one of the main streets in Mahone Bay right on the water. Location can’t be beat, and the B&B itself is fantastic (comfy bed, delicious breakfast in the morning, wonderfully decorated). The hosts were so kind and welcoming and provided great local recommendations. A very memorable stay. Can’t recommend enough!
Great historic building right in the middle of Mahone Bay. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs.
Very well renovated. Breakfast was great.
Only slight downside is that suite 3 had to be the smallest room I've ever stayed in but the bed was comfortable.
We loved our stay in this cozy home away from home. Cathy was an attentive, friendly host who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location of Fisherman's Daughter in picturesque Mahone Bay is special and unique!
Lovely historic home in a great location for exploring Mahone Bay by foot. Warm and inviting hosts with special touches like homemade jams and fresh fruit at breakfast. Spacious room with lovely view of the bay.
Our host was super friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast. We loved that the B&B was within walking distance to the terrific shops in Mahone Bay and Rebecca's restaurant.
A lovely house in the charming small town of Mahone Bay. The owners are great and the breakfast is to die for! The bedroom was sparkling clean and comfortable, very quiet.
Beautiful! Fully equipped kitchen, exceptionally clean, they have thought of everything! Perfect location to explore Mahone Bay by foot yet tucked away on a quiet street.
Great location in Mahone Bay, NS. Lovely town. The staff at the restaurant associated with the inn, Betty’s was wonderful, very pleasant ,friendly and accommodating.
