Nyon is a lovely city and very cosmopolitan.
Nyon is a lovely city and very cosmopolitan. The ability that the hotel provided to me - from the tourism office - to have a free pass to travel to the places of interest within a certain area, and free bus travel, was very helpful. The trains from Nyon connect to the important cities of Switzerland.

Nyon is a magical place with stunning views of lake and mountains. It is very well served with public transport networks that are easy to navigate. I was staying to be in Geneva.
I was staying to be in Geneva. It was a surprise it was so interesting, but also that it was so far out of the city. the train out from Geneva cost me about 15 euro... i would have liked to know that i could book on-line ahead of time to save money. But pleased that the hostel sells tickets to help keep the price down. It would have been nice to know about that on check in or to see a notice - i didn't have time to avail of it, as had to run for the bus.Adria SIreland - 10Scored 10

Fresh fish from the lake was the best and the local wine - there are many places to eat them in Nyon along the lake edge. Nyon is very easy to get around on foot and you don't need a hire car, so you can enjoy the plentiful bottles of Swiss wine from nearby vineyards. The location among a group of restaurants at the boat dock of Lac Leman was great as was the community of restaurants and cafes along the waterfront. Our exceptionally clean room was optimum, as we had windows on two fronts to enjoy the lower portion of Nyon. We found the staff to be highly professional, knowledgeable, and patient as they assisted us throughout our stay. This was a great hotel experience. We loved it.
