The apartment is in a leafy suburb of Berlin and it was an easy half hour trip by train to Berlin central. The apartment is fairly new, spacious, with modern double glazed windows and electric shutters that did a great job of blocking light. There’s a large supermarket a short walk away, near the railway station and some nearby restaurants.

Breakfast was great. Special treats at Easter. The Chinese restaurant next to the hotel offers buffet at a very reasonable price. (€16 in April 2024)
Staff were very friendly and kind, even offered a cup of coffee while waiting for checking in.
The shower was good, temperature could be adjusted easily and the water flow was strong.

On arrival, we felt the hotel had a really welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The bedroom was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The menu in the restaurant allows you to partake of German and/or Vietnamese/Asian dishes. On both evenings we chose the latter; the food was fantastic. It was also good to be served green tea in a teapot allowing for several cups. We had breakfast on our second morning as we were away very early the first morning, The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of options.
