Stylish (business) hotel with spacious room plus game room, fitness room. You get a code for hotel door + room door and that works perfectly. Only thing: there is no staff. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I like to be welcomed + supported by actual people

Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Riding bikes to the train station in the morning---unbelievably badly marked. Would not plan to go back.

Mullheim is mostly a commuters town.
Mullheim is mostly a commuters town. It does not offer much by itself. Our primary reason to stay here was to save money but it turned out it wasn't exactly cheap to say the least. You also need to realise that on Sundays almost everything is closed.

It's a quiet town so don't expect pumping night life. You can walk about safely and the locals are very friendly. There is a good mix of food options and services. A car is needed for easy connections to other parts of Germany.

nice location at Ruhr river with good walking on the Ruhr river side. Railway station is grotty with dubious people around and the pedestrian zone with many budget zone and ugly buildings from the 1960ies would not win any beauty contest.

Two beautiful historic buildings renovated into one hotel. The hotel is quite small and therefore cozy, combining tradition and luxury in furnishing and overall approach. One can notice a slight musty smell in the corridor reminding the age of the building, while the room is perfectly clean, light and fresh. Tasty breakfast in winter garden is a good start of the day.
The hotel is near the city center however common city noise (cars and trams), neighbours' footsteps and showering are in acceptable level.
The room was spotless, as well as the whole hotel. Weirdly, there is no hotel staff, but you must consider it - it is different and could also be a great added value.
The great advantage is the possibility of getting breakfast early - on our request, we got it around 06 am.
the location is about 15 minutes far away of Duisburg central station, the bus station is 50 meters away of the hotel, the hotel is located in a very quite area with a very nice atmosphere, check in and out is by yourself, you don't see anybody there.
What a pleasant surprise! Never stayed here before. Nice, quiet room which looked out to the back garden. Good breakfast. Parking available. Great rate compared to other hotels in Mülheim. I can recommend this hotel
The hotel is somewhat old fashion and has some 80's look and feeling. But the rooms are extremely clean with good beds and the host is very nice and helpfull. Great breakfast and dinner (German kitchen)
The quietest hotel I’ve ever been to. Good night sleep guaranteed. Family room with already made sofa bed. We were 2 adults + 2 kids and had plenty of room. Very forthcoming staff.
The hotel is located on a quiet street very close to place of my work. Very friendly staff, solid breakfast, large and comfortable bathroom. The hotel has a good restaurant.
The staff is very very friendly and uncomplicated! The rooms/facilities are nice, especially the bathroom! Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would go back there.
