The only reason to stay here was to get an early bus to the Quilotoa loop. Walked round and there were zero attractions to visit. Even the churches were shut but that may have been due to the State of Emergency. Didn't eat out because I didn't see anywhere open I fancied eating in.

Though not much to do in the city, it's nevertheless a convenient stop for accessing all the nearby volcanoes and lakes. The city has a potential, it needs a bit of tourism infrastructure to encourage longer stay rather than a quick passing through.

The breakfast was very good and it was nicely done. The staff and the hotel manager were extremely friendly and did everything to make my stay a peasant one. They helped me a lot when I fell ill, The always organised a taxi. From the hotel I could reach important places near by in the city and farther way very quickly. I thank them a lot.

He also helped with reservwtion my accommodation while on the hike, saving me a few dollars. The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. The showers were hot and the Internet worked really well for me. You can also store your luggage here while you complete the Quilotoa Loop.

The best thing was they organised a private Cotopaxi tour for us and it was seamless, we were so grateful.
