Molinaseca is a lively town.
Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.Eileen HooSpain - 10Scored 10

The owner Raul was such a character.
The owner Raul was such a character. He explained everything to us as the buffet breakfast was self service. He was delighted that we were staying for 3 nights as a lot of people probably only stayed overnight on their pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela The room was spotless and a decent bathroom made the stay very comfortable. He ran the supermarket within the building and his brother Jorge ran a nearby restaurant. The brothers could not be more helpful. Our party were given a signed bottle of wine on our departure. A really nice touch.

I was lucky to have met the owners Patricia and Jorge while seated at a local hangout. Patricia offered a tour of the property which has been in her family for generations. Paid €$6 for breakfast the next morning served at their second location, Albergue San Nicolas, around the corner the next day. Delicious. Loved Molinaseca and this albergue.
