Location is a little out of the town, but the walk is fine. It is right on a busy main road so there is some noise if the window is open. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful especially with us arriving as 2 soaked cyclists and a very early morning start.

A place to avoid. Not much charm and way too many British hippies, who instead of adding to a unique and interesting vibe, seem to fuel a proliferation of expensive touristy and inauthentic restaurant experiences.

Orgiva is a great centre for exploring the surrounding area. Plenty of walks for all levels of fitness in the mountains & valley. Some nice places to eat. Especially Cafe Baraka. Adams Apple also do lovely food.AineIreland - 10Scored 10
A very interesting town in the Alpujarras, a mixture of...
A very interesting town in the Alpujarras, a mixture of people, from local camposinos and Alpujarranians to alternative types, hippies, punks, writers, musicians, artists, spiritual and new age folks. The scenery is amazing, walking and horse riding/trekking is recommended, as is mountain biking for the fitter and more adventurous! Thursday market is worth visiting, all sorts of stuff for sale. 20-30 minutes from the coast and an hour from Granada by car. Not as busy and party central as it was 10-15 years ago, but still great. Also, some great local food and drink, tapa is free so you can happily drink and munch through the day! Apparently the last stronghold of the Anarchists during the Civil War in Andalucia, still has that unconventional vibe about it, well worth at least 2 or 3 days to visit.

The location was easy to find from Noelia's directions and the guest house was charming set in easy reach of restaurants, bars and the main square of Orgiva. Both rooms had ample facilities -even having kettles( so rare in hotel rooms in Spain) and fridges(which we didn't use) and sofas where we could relax after our journey. It was very peaceful, the garden is beautiful with ancient olive & fruit trees. The scenery was lovely, with mountain views and the pool was great for swimming. A really enjoyable few days.
