Liked the fact that the bus station was within easy reach, which enabled us to visit Alicante and other places. Would of liked to have visited the salt museum but found it to difficult to walk there, (being of a certain age it was a little far for us on foot). Santa Pola is a relatively small town with a bustling port/marina at the centre with eateries, shops and boat trips to Tabarca Island. You can walk to the north and south of the port along flat walkways where you will find quiet areas with nice beaches. You will find the major supermarkets plus a central bus station with links to Alicante, Elche and south to Torrevieja.

Santa Pola is a working town but still is a great place for a vacation there are 2 great beaches and loads of restaurants and cafes. great supermarkets and bakeries. You can do water sports in summer and there are great walks and cycling options.

All facilities were on the doorstep! Don’t forget to have a nice cold drink in one of the tiny bars that are down all the little side streets ! Wide choice of restaurants and music and entertainment and a lovely walk along the Marina promenade people watching to be off a chilled day in Santa Pola ( a very underrated town in our opinion! ) 🏖☀️MandyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We have visted the town many times, we like it because it is a "working town" not full of tourists. There a plenty of excellent restaurants and shops and the beaches are very well maintained. Favourite restaurant was Cata Simo and we enjoyed many "meals of the day" there. It is easy to get around the town by walking. Do not miss the fruit and veg market on a Saturday, or the general goods market on a Monday morning.

We have visited Santa Pola often over the years but never overnight. We love the fact that it is a very Spanish town with plenty of Restaurants for every pocket. The beaches are fantastic and safe. Taxis are easily available and reasonably priced. Very flat walking all over town with a historic Fort in the square with Cafés all around the edges. The town also boasts a local indoor market with local fresh goods for sale. A truely lovely Spanish town.

In addition, the villa itself comfortably housed us and was generally clean, if slightly tired (but in keeping with the pictures advertised). The location was fairly rural so was very peaceful and we were not in danger of disturbing immediate neighbours but was still only a 10 min drive to Santa Pola by car - I would say it is necessary to have a car.EilidhUnited Kingdom

Contact less check in and check out is great ( Entry codes are sent via wattsapp on day of arrival so no keys are needed). The rooms are very big and each one has an en suite. Great showers and comfy beds. Toiletries and towels are provided as is a hairdryer. Location is perfect for us and is on a quiet road, less than a minutes walk to the beach and short walk to restaurants.

The apartment is beautiful, large, beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped (we particularly enjoyed the coffee machine in the morning). Very comfortable bed and sofa, great shower. Nice little terrace. The location is perfect, centrally located in Santa Pola town (close to the castle, restaurants and cafes and the port where you can catch a boat to visit the island of Tabarca) and well located to explore places of interest in Costa Blanca.

The two bedrooms were also good. I liked that there was air conditioning to help cool the apartment and a washing machine for the clothes. There was even a clothes drying rack.
