Clean & central location for the champagne houses & town, Christoph was brilliant, very welcoming on arrival, and gave us loads of pointers on where to visit & recommended several restaurants. When our plans changed we received first class service.

The hotel owner was exceptionally helpful to me after injuring myself during my pilgrims' walk.
Kindness and care for guests is the hallmark of an excellent establishment.
The rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was sufficient.

Very disappointing to visit at Easter - most of the champagne houses were closed and the good restaurants were all full. I have been before in the summer when its much better. I must recommend Kitsch Cafe - literally the best coffee I have tasted in France.

A lovely city with plenty to see and visit, lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. Of course the champagne tasting is a must and we found a town called Monthelon with wonderful tasting at a small champagne house called Denis Frezier. A must if you visit this area.

Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train.
Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train. There is a lot to see and do and beautiful countryside and small villages to explore if you are into food and wine it is a paradise but remember bookings are often required moths in advance for some tours. Be aware it does not target the budget traveller so be prepared. there are cheaper meal options and great shops with ready prepared french classics to re heat.
Overall a great place to Base yourself. We try and Stay at La Mignonette it is well located with parking and your own kitchen and laundry. it helped stretch the budget.

Amazing place if you love Champagne but also if you want to learn more. The newly opened museum is very useful to understand how nature and human genius created the Champagne success. People are generally very kind and smiling.
We had the pleasure to have a tasting in Champagne Michel Gonet which we suggest.
The only bad experience has been with the lousy service of the "Brasserie de la Banque". We booked a table 3 days before going there because of a special occasion and received the confirmation. We entered on the booked evening at 19.50 and at 20.28 no one came even to ask us if we wanted to drink something. We simply left and the old person at the entrance (who showed us the table 30 minutes before) even did not notice it . Fortunately there is the place "Brasserie Le Progres" in face of it. We have been happily there three times in three days

Our friends recommended we stay in Epernay rather than Reims and I am glad we did. Epernay and the main street which is world heritage listed is lovely to stroll up and down, and it's easy to pop into a champagne house for a quick drink. Make sure you book your Champagne House Tours months in advance as we left it late and missed a few of our favourites. We drove to Reims for Veuve, Pommery and Mumm and Moet and many others are in Epernay. Reims was about 30min drive and the champagne houses provide parking.

Compact town with excellent restaurants and everything you would want if you are an Oenophile with the emphasis on the Fizz!
If you are self catering they have a big SuperMarche on the outskirts and 2 Mini shops in the town.
Chez Max Restaurant is a must eat if you are in town
Also good Bus service if you do not have a car.. Easy to use and cheap
Champagne tasting was superb. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and drink. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and were very patient with my attempts to speak French. It was also good to meet other guests from France, Belgium and Germany. The village setting is lovely and has a nice square with a few cafes and bars. Rooms were spotless and bottled water and chocolates were provided each night. Also secure parking behind electric gates was a bonus. I cant fault anything. 100%
Fabulously HUGE, clean, modern 300-yr old house!! So many rooms! Three levels with a toilet, shower/bathroom on each level!!! The photos don’t do this place justice. Washing machine, dishwasher and fabulous kitchen to sit around with our friends. Simply amazing quality for the price! The location was great, and beds were extremely comfortable. The best home-away-from-home in Epernay or the Champagne area!
Well kitted out and very clean, this compact but very well located appartement was perfect for our short stay in Épernay. The double bed in the bedroom and the convertible sofa in the living room were both comfortable. The kitchen is compact but practical and had everything you need, including a nice coffee machine. Only 5 minutes walk from the avenue de Champagne, the location is very good.
well located in the heart of Epernay. The apartment was clean with great facilities (cooking utensils, a refrigerator, etc). There are numerous restaurants near by and the distance to the Champagne Houses is walkable. Great accommodations for two or three adults or small family. You can do 4 adults if you are good friends. I highly recommend it and would book it again
This is a lovely little apartment, well situated near to Epernay train station and within easy walking distance of the Avenue de Champagne. The apartment is modern, very clean and very quiet - absolutely perfect. Theo is a wonderful host who was always on hand to help with anything required. Highly recommended.
Great location on famous Avenue of Champagne in Epernay! Across the street from Moët & Chandon and many beautiful champagne houses. Comfortable beds. Tall ceilings with beautiful operable windows overlooking the Avenue. Nice hotel restaurant with good wine and champagne selections. Friendly staff.
The hotel is in a quiet location at the end of Avenue d' Champagne. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Epernay, past some of the big champagne houses.
The staff were friendly & helpful.
Comfortable rooms, with clean bathroom .
The car park was handy for reception.
Fabulous hotel, absolutely fantastic breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Huge room, quiet, great location. Far exceeded my expectations. I hope to return- I'd never stay anywhere else. It will be my home away from home in Champagne.
The price and location with parking and next to a lidl were a plus. Even though the facility was shabby at best, it was clean (sheets, towels, floors, surfaces)
