Everything - best staff anywhere in the world; sublime dining experience; beautiful hotel - Nuxe products,
luxe 'smell' to the whole place. Director Eloise (?) a stunning, charming hotel Manager; Gabrielle who heads
the dining room - absolutely brilliant. The three of us LOVED our stay here.

Very conveniently located in the heart of the town near the chateau and park
Lovely little town full of friendly people. The Chateau Fontainebleau was spectacular! My husband and I have toured Versailles twice, but always found it extremely crowded and so difficult to take things in, while being jostled by other guests. Fontainebleau was nothing like that at all. It IS a magnificent chateau, not to be missed in terms of size, architecture and beauty. What is missing is the crowds. Most of the time, we were alone in the rooms (save a few security guards). It made it so much more pleasant to be able to actually take our time and really look at things rather than being constantly jostled along by the crowds of tourists. If you are anywhere nearby, definitely take the time to see it.

Fontainebleau is easily the rival of Versailles, and the bonus is there are far less people squeezing around. The gardens are perfect for a stroll around the water features, people picnicking on the grass and exploring hidden gems within them. The Palace was amazing, without the gold bling of some but with vastly richer history and ornate features easily a match for anything.
The town clearly has a multitude of dining options, we got Italian from Pizza Mimi which was wonderful, and we found a quaint little church and some unique little shops in the short time after the Palace closed.
Skip the day-trip do yourself a favour and stay longer to properly explore everything this beautiful part of France just out of Paris has to offer.

We had a family break celebrating my 60th birthday on Easter Sunday and we met up with family who live nearby. There is plenary to do for the Easter break in the hotel. They provide everything you need and more. Lovely feel staff friendly. We didn’t eat food as we did our own celebrations but it looked lovely and well laid out. I would happily stay here again.

We took the tourist train thru the gardens to get our orientation, then did our own walk. Even in October it was a great walk.
Did a self guided tour of the chateau with an audio guide - much better with the guide than it would have been without. Some amazing history explained!
The shops, restaurants & the walk ability were all great.

My visit to Fontainebleau was to watch the Ladies Real Tennis World Championships in the Chateau. Great event , hotel was close by . The staff in the restaurants visited were all great , despite a busy Easter week with great weather and lots of tourists . Dined at both lower price and higher price restaurants .
This is a very nice appartment close to the castle of Fontainebleau. It has a well-quipped kitchen, comfortable beds and both a dishwasher and a washing machine. With windows closed, it is perfectly quiet, otherwise you might hear a bit of noise from the nearby street, but nothing awful. The host is very nice and helpful. Parking is in the street and it is free and we had no problem finding a spot every day.
I only stayed one night but I love this hotel. The location was fantastic, practically opposite the entrance to the Château and the bus stop to the train station. Comfortable and clean room with an excellent view.
The apartment is on a surprisingly quiet road right in the centre of Fontainebleau so is ideally located for exploring the attractive town and palace. It is well-equipped (although the kitchen is very small).
central location, short walk to the Chateau, close to shops
small apartment with efficient use of space, contained everything needed for a comfortable stay
sofa bed easy to make up and comfortable to sleep on
Nice hotel, very good location, advantage they have parking places. It just would be nice to know before that you have to pay for them. All in all, very nice stay and I would recommend it to my friends.
Free parking provided. Self check-in was easy and convenience. Very near Fontainebleau Palace. There was good Asian resraurant near the hotel. Breakfast was good with many varieties.
This hotel was clean and modern and in a perfect location very close to restaurants and the Chateaux. There was ample parking and the breakfast was good, all in all a great stay.
Small and cozy place, right in the center of Fontainebleau. Easy to access and the owner was very nice and allowed to reschedule when our flight was moved! Would recommend.
We loved our stay at Demeure Les Aiglons. Our room
was spacious, comfortable and clean. The property is lovely and in a perfect location to explore Fontainebleau.
location was great, next to Chateau Fontainebleau, restaurants, bar and downtown.
