The hotel is a beautifully restored chateau with a swimming pool and terrace. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who took our luggage up to our room for us. Our room is big, spacious and lavishly furnished. It had a view of the pool. We booked the evening meal with 4 courses and it was one of the best meals of our whole trip. The flavours and presentation were incredible. Bravo to the chef!

Everything. It was spotlessly clean and had everything one would need. lots of little touches. Toiletries plus loads of thoughtful other things, spare toothpaste, sun cream, body lotion, plasters etc etc. proper coffee making machine and proper coffee. tea, instant coffee. biscuits, cakes. microwave, crockery, cutlery. loved the mugs and cute little spoons. The host had really given the room some thought and care. safe free parking right outside. aEven a swimming pool . if the weather had been warm, I’m sure we would have been allowed to use it. Check in was officially 3 but the host arranged for us to check in early. Nothing seemed too much trouble . A little far from Bordeaux centre but we like walking so walked there and back. There was also a tram and bus stop nearby and very easy to get to town The host had left very clear instructions how to do this. If we had not walked it would not have been a problem. Everything very helpful.

It was such a nice place, the hostess is amazing, kind and very hospitable, maybe even I haven't met a better host! She cooked breakfast for us every day and once on Saturday she made really good pancakes! Thank you for a good time!
