The location is very handy for access to the N10. The restaurant is pleasant and the menu interesting and reasonably priced, the food is well prepared and generous. There is free parking in front of the hotel.

We arrived late on a Sunday, and reception was closed, but staff had made every effort to arrange for our arrival. We were given a door code & the key was in reception; very smooth. Free parking outside. We didn't use the hotel facilities as it was a brief stopover. The garden would be nice in summer. The receptionist was friendly & helpful the following morning. Hotel info recommended a local pizza place that stays open daily, which was useful. Vendôme is a beautiful place to visit, even in the rain! Hotel is a short walk (10 mins?) from the town centre.

Fabulous property renovated to a very high standard with tasteful decor & furnishings. Spacious downstairs with living/ dining area, well equipped kitchen & large bathroom. Upstairs massive bedroom with 1 double & 3 single beds. Outside furniture overlooking well stocked garden.

Le Grand Saint Marc is an oasis of calm and heritage on the edge of Vendome, which is itself a fascinating historic town. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our host was very kind and helpful. We will certainly return in the future as there is more in the area we want to see.
