Luxury 3 bed flat with large terrace, sea views and hot tub, hotel in Canford Cliffs

Luxury 3 bed flat with large terrace, sea views and hot tub is located in Canford Cliffs, just a 4-minute walk from Sandbanks Beach and 1.3 miles from Studland Naturist Beach.

The apartment was very modern, clean and a great place to stay with friends. The kitchen is a great social area and we enjoyed cooking in the apartment. The bathroom and ensuite bathrooms were stunning and the beds were very comfortable. The location was fantastic for exploring Studland Bay, Poole Harbour and beyond and the apartment felt extremely secured.

Durley Dean, hotel in Canford Cliffs

This Victorian townhouse offers bright, modern air conditioning rooms, located just 5 minutes’ walk from Bournemouth’s award-winning beach.

The family I travelled with were adults. They had a separate room. I asked on arrival for a room with a stand up shower rather than/or in addition to a bathtub. (I'd like that to be a filter on your booking format). The only room the could give me was a "family room" which was large and included a set of bunk beds we did not need. The mattress on our bed could be improved upon. The bathroom was nice but small. There was an elevator but it was very slow and tiny. The carpet went half way up the walls of the elevator and we did not feel it was very clean. The young lady on the front desk when we arrived and was on again during our stay was without any welcoming personality. Just stated what we needed to pay for breakfast and parking. My family members had a room with a tub in the bathroom. It was spacious and comfortable. They used the pool and gym which they said was very nice. We did not use any spa services. The breakfast buffet was good and the dining room staff very nice, friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there one night and it was good. The bar had a lovely big coffee machine but apparently the bar tender couldn't work it as I was told a decaff latte was possible and then it wasn't because he didn't know how. I feel for the price, the breakfast should be included and also the parking. It adds a lot to the cost especially when renting two rooms. Locationwise it's easy to get to but there are no shops or coffee shops/bakeries etc near the hotel. There was a bus tour staying at the hotel when we were there. They seemed to be well looked after. However, later in the season this could possibly make the hotel very busy. There were relatively few other guests when we were there so we had no trouble parking etc. The parking is at the back and the only way in is the front door with steps so if carrying luggage is an issue might not work well for some people.

Stayed in Sandbanks, a short car drive away from Canford Cliffs high street. Lovely resort with fantastic beach, local shop, cafe & a couple of restaurants. Also restaurants in nearby hotels very good. So everything for a relaxed self catering holiday. Chainlink Ferry to Studland, Swanage & Corfe all worth a visit too.
