The location was okay. The shower was permanently on hot water. The receptionist was not helpful. She sent me a document that I should filled in before collecting the key. I could not access the document and was unable to fill it. Your receptionist wasted my time, try to solve this problem. We came for conference, the conference started on the 24 of August and she sent the form on 23 of august. she was calling me while I was in the conference. My phone was on silence and could not get through to me. The complication was just too much and I will not stay in your flat nor recommend anyone to. Thanks very much

We went particularly to spend a day visiting the Chatham dock yard. It was amazing in size and content. We learned a lot about its history and were fascinated in going on board three historic vessels there. The eating areas were very good and gave good choices even for Vegans! Plenty of parking under cover.

The Historic Dockyard was absolutely fabulous and well worth the visit. Give yourself the whole day to take everything in. There are some hidden gems, like The Command House' bar and restaurant and also the Hollywood Bowl restaurant and Bar.
Not entirely sure what to say about the town centre. Walking late at night through the town centre could be unnerving for some and during our 3 day stay we never saw a police presence on the streets. Lots of small groups of men gathered around.

Chatham town centre has various places to visit.
Chatham town centre has various places to visit. The Dockyard is a must see. There are various places to done and drink. We went to a fabulous Indian restaurant called the Sultan which provided many tasty local Indian dishes to satisfy it's diners taste buds. It's an easy place to get around by car or on foot. Walking through the town centre does not give the visitor much to fill them with excitement. Many facilities are tired, dated and you feel need regeneration. Hopefully in the future this could be rectified to show off more of the Maritime history the town is noted for.

Chatham town itself may not be anything special - a typical south-east England town. But there are some places of interest nearby, and Chatham could be a very good base from which to explore and visit other sites on the south coast and even in London.
For example, in Chatham there is the Historic Dockyard, a must for all ages with an interest in naval history. Rochester nearby has the castle, now a ruin but the site of an overnight stay by king Henry the 8th.

The property is located at the posh area of Chatham. It was very neat, tidy and comfortable. It was close to amenities within 2 minutes’ walk. The property had everything that I needed for my stay. I also enjoyed the Riverside Walk around the perimeter of St. Mary's Island. It was a lovely experience. Julius is a fantastic host, he was within a phone call away and made us feel very welcome. I will recommend this property!
It is a new hotel or May be it is undergoing refurbishment so the outside does not look fantastic but when you step inside, everything is nice, very clean and neat. Staff are very nice. The rooms were big and nice. There were standing fans in the room. The bed was massive and all the sheets were nice and clean. It is worth the money. I will stay there again and I also recommend it to others.
Me and my partner had a lovely stay at the hotel very lovely accomodation the landlord was very welcoming when we got lost he picked us up from the train station which was very helpful we would recommend to come back here again the house was very clean and very nice area and quiet. Thankyou for being so helpful and welcoming. I recommend a thousand star 💫 review
Hotel offers a breath taking view of the river, making it a perfect spot for a serene getaway. The staff are exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. The historic charm of the hotel, combined with modern conveniences, provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It's a wonderful base for enjoying the beauty and history of Chatham.
I like this hotel. It’s the best ‘good value-no-frills’ place to stay in the area. the rooms are great. En-suite bathrooms are perfect. Breakfasts are also exceptionally good… don’t miss those. On-site parking. Staff are lovely & very helpful. Great location too…. a short walk into the old town or down to the naval museum. I’ll be coming back.
The hotel was clean and in good decor very stylish and modern. Only issue was the comfort of the bed very hard and the pillows could do with replacing not by putting two pillows in a cover . Apart from that the only over issue was the cushions were dated and over used could possibly replace for more elegance and comfort look to the eye .
Excellent facilities, furnishings level excellent, this establishment eclipses most 5 star hotels, showering is superb and Ayo and her janitorial team have gone to considerable lengths to make customer satisfaction an absolute.
Well done Chatham Guest House, IMHO, Guest House of the year 2023.
Not great on arrival but fitting it’s price. However the bed was very comfortable and the shower better than most I’ve seen in much more expensive hotels. There is a discount for the excellent Sultan Indian restaurant next door. Parking at the back was very useful.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Facilities were good with pool and gym. Good location for Chatham Dockyards and Rochester.
Evening meal look and breakfast’s were lovely.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is situated in the town with easy parking facilities. Nice views over the River Medway from room 208. The staff were friendly particularly the lady on evening shift who was kept extremely busy.
Chatham itself is a beautiful place and we went to the historic dockyard which was absolutely amazing. So in general it was OK the accommodation let it down!
