No 1 Ramageton, hotel in Hurlford

Featuring garden views, No 1 Ramageton features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 18 km from Ayr Racecourse.

The cottage is incredibly comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The weather was awful but it didn't matter at all as we were so happy to spend time inside.

Carnell Country Estate, hotel in Hurlford

A 2000 acre country Estate in Hurlford, Carnell Country Estate offers accommodation 36 km from Glasgow. Free WiFi and free ample parking is available.

The estate and property are beautiful. The bothy cottage felt like a well-looked after wee home, with all the mod-cons and tasteful decoration. The hosts were very helpful and thoughtful, having carefully catered for pets needs and provided some welcome groceries. We arrived a bit late to the estate and struggled to find out way in the dark, but the hosts very graciously met us and showed us the way. During our stay, we enjoyed watching all the wee songbirds that would visit the bird feeders by the lounge windows. A very restful stay.

The Hobbit, hotel in Hurlford

Featuring accommodation with a patio, The Hobbit is located in Newmilns. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

The property was of a very high standard, sparkling clean, lovely finishes to everything. Beautiful surroundings, getting to see little calf’s and sheep right next to us was a real highlight for my husband and I. We had a wonderful stay and our hostess added so many lovely extras as we were there for our anniversary. The host communicated everything we needed to know via E mail or text and was so helpful and funny too, nothing too much trouble.

We stayed in the Bothy, which is lovely. The estate is stunning, very secluded and the ideal location for a quiet week in nature. We have loved Ayrshire, the coast is a well-kept secret and there are plenty of places to see inland too, Dumfries House being a highlight.
