The beach was a 15min walk away,a lovely walk and pub carpark was handy to leave the car there,and a very good size.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and cocktails. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, the perfect getaway. The rooms were very clean and modern with comfortable beds for a great nights sleep.

Room was a side room, with a slight sea view so OK. Could not put heating on and at times needed it. Location was great, not to busy. close to restaurants and sea front. The breakfast was ok, the quality of sausage was poor and so was the hash browns, other than that OK

The hotel was close to the Plaza which is what we wanted and there was free parking at the hotel. Although no meals were provided there was a room at the front where breakfast cereals and light snacks could be had for free - a sort of help yourself honour system because no staff were present. The rooms were clean. The lady who met us when we got there
was welcoming in a kind of smiling, breathless rushed off my feet way - she was doing her best I suppose, a bit like the hotel. This is not an expensive place so don't expect five star or four star accommodation - its Bridlington and not San Tropez. The owners are obviously trying to make a go of a business in a place that has seen much better days.
Oakwell Guest House is situated in Bridlington, a 5-minute walk from the beach. It offers full English breakfasts, and a guest lounge with a large TV and a chess board.
