Went to a wedding at this hotel, we stayed in the coach-house away from the hotel which was lovely and quiet. The grounds and hotel were lovely. I'm veggie & Gf and both these options were available for breakfast 😋

We were taking a ferry to Ireland from Hollyhead. From home that would be a 3 hour drive. 2.5 hours to Anglesey the day before and a 30 minute drive to Hollyhead next morning was a much better plan. The hotel is perfect for that plan.

The building itself is super charming, old and quaint and well preserved. The restaurant is large (actually many smaller rooms spread out around the building, quite quirky and cool) and the food was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and found a safe place for us to store our bikes.

Proximity to Zip World, owners kept referring to Anglesey, how good it was! Bangor full of students.!! Caernavon we recommended a restaurant, but owners told us it was not! good friends had said so.
The 'local' knowledge was poor of the owners, or was either contradictory or wrong. The Slate Restaurant nearby.
